I noticed that for a few turns but does it keep on throughout the wash?
You pick up things every day on UKW.
    Thanks
    Rob

I would doubt it. When the level of water rises a little the pressure on the switch will be more constant.

Replaced element and cured the fault so worth noting to disconnect the element first or if you have one handy to try before suspecting board.

Never run when carrying a burning oven. 😆
    Mike.

I was so relieved to get it out believe me, couldn’t risk someones mansion burning down because of me 😕 Their dog ran after me grabbing my leg trying to hump it when running out the door 😳

Done one of these before and took a while to figure out properly. Anyway looking at the net it seems A is the line in from the timer and B is the element ( so A and B are the thermal switch) so A to C is a switch contact obviously for the fan. Fitting tomorrow in place of the older type switch so will report back if worked.

I remember once i was looking at a fridge that stopped working. Ice melted and was a puddle of water on the floor that i was standing in. I suspected thermostat. I asked the customer to unplug fridge and guess what he unplugged the microwave by mistake! 🙁 . It was some belt 😯

Thanks for the replies .. I went back and checked continuity between the orange and brown and was ok. I checked the float switch and is ok. Any other ideas before i order a board? i think the boards are cheap anyway.

Would a faulty water counter stop it from filling? I thought usually they would fill and when they don’t get a signal then stop? The valve doesn’t power up at all.

I have also come across a few dead ones. Even though your case was the heater, the ones i went to had a broken wire going into the spade connector on the pressure switch, a common problem.

Usually if someone phones me on a Saturday and i tell them monday they seem ok with it. I try to keep Saturday free but sometimes i do the odd job.

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

Went to a Bosch maxx WTO machine today with no spin, the usual brushes. When i get there the woman informs me her husband and son had a go at looking at the machine last night and had bits taken out and put back in again 😯 . Anyway i put in the brushes and it spins away. I decide to do a rinse test and then i notice too much water going in and the rinse light then flashes. I take off the lid and nothing seems amiss. I take the little pipe off the pressure switch and blow and no blockage. I then blow into the switch and no click and no resistance air leaking out somewhere. Apparently they took the switch apart! The top of the switch clips off and the diaphram wasn’t put back in properly. I managed to get it working again , what possesed them to take it apart i’ll never know:rolls:
