Re: Tea for two……..not on your Nelly!

My dads vave was asking the cust if the kettle needed looking at while he was there as he thought is must be broken because it’s not on!

The wosrt ones are the little old ladies who offer a drink but dont make it until you’ve finished the job (so it doesnt go cold) then get a pan out and start boiling it on the hob! three days later you get your coffee which when done in a pan seems like its the temperature of magma!

    Re: water not heating

    Hi

Could be heater but more likely would be dry joint on the heater relay on control pcb you can usually see it a mile off (Blackened mark on board and plastic cover), if your lucky a quick solder will sort it (plus its easier to check pcb first than dig out the heater!) Power off 😉

Re: salt light not going off

    Hi

First thing is how much salt did you put in? Salt chamber needs to be brimming. also did you fill the salt chamber with water first, if not put water in too. Run it through a rinse and if it’s still on after all that then there may be a fault. To see if you need salt and rinse aid as well as tablets the best way is to use it and if wash performace is poor then you need all three. It depends on what the water is like in your area. I have to use two tablets sometimes in mine and salt and rinse aid but it still beats washing up eh!!

    Re: Electrolux glass door problems

    Hi

You can glue the glass in place with clear silicone sealant, it can cope with the heat and is about £4 a tube we’ve never had one come off again after using it and you’ll have loads left for other odd jobs!

Re: Miele W3922 10yr warranty back on

Did you take a look at the ISE10? And just out of interest if you did see it, what put you off that as opposed to the miele? Same spec washer and you could have saved a few quid and if motor goes in 11 years it won’t cost you £450 for a new part. 😕
