ParticipantThere are 3 main probs that cause no heating.
1. Low water levels – Water should cove the whole base and be approx 1/3 – 1/2 up the side of the salt pot lid
2. Burnt out heater relay on control board – Can normally be seen if the PCB is inspected closely . The board sits behind the select buttons.
3. Open circuit heater . This can be accessed by removing the RHS panel and checking the continuity of the heater . Its on the RHS of the RHS if that makes sense.
Power off if investigating

ParticipantI’m not sure of this model because i don’t have the details in front of me but its worth checking the base element , if it has one .
I’ve had a couple where the base element has low insulation and although its not neccassarily used in conjunction with the ring element , it is connected to it , and this was enough to cause the tripping.
As i say , not sure if you’re model has this set up but its worth checking the bottom element anyways , if it has one , just to be sure.

ParticipantPDR , posting the full ENR number first will be advantageous as there are different heaters depending on models .
It should be on a badge on or around the main oven door/cavity.

ParticipantThe selector knobs def pull off John……and the drawing is inconclusive to give a definitive answer. But i’m almost sure the 2 securing torx screws re behind the knobs.

Participantis it the whole of the freezer section that isn’t cold or is it more towards the top if the compartment ?
I have had to change a few good freezer fans on these models for ‘warm’ freezers – part no: 601067

ParticipantI can’t be certain but try pulling off the selector knobs and looking through the hole. You might find a couple of torx screws holding it on.

ParticipantThe small ‘white inline pump’ is the impellor jug CJA mentioned . Its actually a flow rate meter and 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure this is what has failed and will need replacing .

ParticipantYes , thats the cookie…..the slot has a door lock inside that should only allow the appliance to start once the door has closed and the ‘hook’ has engaged the lock.
If the door is open but switched off then nothing should happen.
If the door is open and switched on , the display/led’s should light up but nothing else.
During normal working , you would switch the appliance on , select your cycle and then close the door to start it……but what you can’t see is that the display/led’s are out when the door is closed and the machine is working normally. Thisis why you may not be able to see any lights but it starts working !!
P.S your appliance is actually a Siemens made dishwasher !

ParticipantIf it fills/drains/fills/drains then its more than likely the impellor jug ( Flow meter ) gone faulty . Slightly different design on these models – Its the small white tubular component connected to the bottom of the water inlet on the left hand side
Part No: 607138 –

ParticipantI’d be inclined to think the door lock has either broken or ‘flipped’ into the closed position so the appliance thinks the door is closed and therefore starts working with the door itself open.
You will need to look into the lock on the top edge of the door to see i the latching arm has indeed flipped .

Participantnormally means water in base pan operating flood protection system OR pressure chamber bunged up. I’d take the LHS panel off to have a quick butchers !

ParticipantAlso , some Dishwasher makes need cold water fill to ensure good drying results. Can’t comment on your make/model as i don’t know it.

and changed the impellor and sealHuh? 😕
How can you change the impellor as it comes as a magnetic pump assembly?
Removing of which only requires releasing the latch, twisting clockwise 15 degrees and pulling away. A simple push-twist anti-clock to latch to refit.
He may be referring to the wash MOTOR Martin , rather than the drain PUMP.
If its the drain pump then its a pretty easy twist fit .#
If its the wash motor , its a little bit more difficult but you have to make sure the motor is full pushed home before twisting . There is a cut-out/lug at approx the 4 o’clock setting that is the ‘key’ to lining it all up !

ParticipantBefore you do anything else , is there water flowing into the appliance or is there no water intake at all ?
If the water actually flows in , you might need to check the pressure chamber for gunging up . This is a white plastic ‘box’ situated on the bottom rear of the tub between the motor and heater . Take this off and check both the chamber and the hole/grommet where it connects to the tub. if this is blocked and the machine isn’t seeing the water level rise , it will give the error code you describe.
