Participantif you look on the PCB on the track side , you’ll see all the small IC’s ( those little black square components ) Have a close look at all of them and see if one of them looks like a bit has broken off the top of it.
If you do find one on the PCboard like that , then you’ll be looking at a new waterheater and module replacement.nomadPaul
ParticipantIgnore that number. There should be a plate on the inside of the door or the surrounding edge of the oven cavity .

ParticipantHi Paul , not sure that model number is complete . However , there are a couple of possibilities….
The fan could be starting to seize . As these fans suck air , rather than blow , they can develop a build up of grease within the fan motor itself or , more often , on the motor’s rear support legs . This can hamper the rotation of the fan shaft.
OR
The fan blade is catching on the rear plate . These sometimes get a build-up on the inside of the central grill which the fan blade catches on.
OR
It could be that if he’s selecting and using circotherm grilling , the fan will work intermittently as a matter of course.

ParticipantNot sure about anti-crease…but drying and iron dry are normally blocked drain pump

ParticipantHave all the transit bolts and collars been removed ? if you push the drum back towards to rear does it bang or feel like its hitting something ?

ParticipantWhat sometimes happens with these F/F’s is that the compressors ‘weaken’ asthey age and therefore need to work slightly harder or longer to ensure correct temps.
Do you find that the temps drop quite quickly after having the doors open for any time longer than usual ? i.e If loading the freezer after a shopping trip ?nomadPaul
ParticipantCardie , that model number is wrong i think but off the top of my head , FO3 normally refers to a draining fault. Possibly foreign object in pump or blocked drain hose.
Does the machine have a flap at the bottom hiding a drain pump cover . There may be a small black hose leading from it through which you should be able to drain the machine and at least get the door open and your washing out.
Post the full model number for further help

ParticipantChris , by hunting noise , do you mean a ‘Klerdunking’ noise as it fills? Sounds like a valve or pump being switched on and off rapidly ?
If it is , yours could be the classic ‘gunged’ up fill-hose . The hose gets blocked causing water to ‘back-up’ , bringing the pump on intermittently and causing low water levels. Low water levels means ‘no heat’ which means a wash/rinse cycle that doesn’t end.
Next time it does it , check the water level in the base. It should almost cover the whole base , just reaching the bottom edge of the salt lid.
Search on here for Neff/Bosch dishwashers not heating and there are some good explainations and pics showing the problem.

ParticipantAre you sure it is the pump ? When you switch the machine to ‘drain’ , can you hear the drain pump working or do you hear a very faint hum/buzz coming from the pump area itself ?
In my experience the pumps are a rare failure on these machines ( although not unheard of ) . Its more likely to be a blockage in a drain hose or the sump rather than the pump itself.nomadPaul
ParticipantHave you done the simple check of the drain pump impellor ?
Switch the applaince to ‘drain’ and start . Does the pump come on ?
If you can’t hear the pump come on then there may well be a blockage in the impellor. You will need to remove the fluff filter in the bottom right corner.
Be prepared for some water to come out and power off before doing any investigationsnomadPaul
ParticipantWhen you say cuts out , do you mean it goes completely dead ? i.e no display/lights/leds ?
I’ve had a couple where the fault is with the customers socket/electrical connection going open circuit after a few minutes use – probably due to a poor connection coming adrift as the wires heat up and expand .
Twice its been on hard-wired sockets .

ParticipantIf the fridge freezer cuts out after approx 18 – 20 hrs but always restarts again after a switch off – switch on then it certainly sounds like the foamed in thermistor problem.
Its not a difficult job and can be carried out by any competent DIY’er. Its important to follow the instructions that come with the repair kit.
Power off if attempting repair

ParticipantError 07 normally means that the drum lid is open

a bit off topic but was surprised the other day when I pulled out an Intergrated Bosch dishwasher to discover they dont even bother to put any sides on them anymore…..at least Hairer havnt thought of that one yet.
TBH , there’s not that many like that . Its the one’s with the inner plastic base that tend to have the ‘half’ panels
nomadPaul
ParticipantSounds like you may have a flooded base pan.
Power off and unplug . Tip appliance carefully backwards/forwards and see if lots of water spills out. Once drained , power up and see how the machine runs then . If it starts ok but goes into a continual pump out after a while , you will probably have a leak into the base which will need investigation.
