There are 3 main reasons for no heat faults on these appliances. Low water level is the main culprit due to blocked pressure chamber/fill hose. Dry heater relay joint is second favourite followed by open circuit heater. If all of those are ok then you have to look at the ntc on the heater or maybe low water pressure due to a blocked circulating pump/broken impellor.

That looks like a blown triac there and if it is the one I think that has a blown top , it’s the water point motor that’s gone so you’ll be looking at a new heater box AND module.
If you look at the collection of 4 triacs , the one slightly away from the others had a small section missing from its lid……that’s the one that’s failed.nomadPaul

As Martin suggested , on normal and intensive cycles , the heating cycle doesn’t kick in for about 20 minutes.

Try starting it with the door open….
Do you get exactly the same response as if starting it with the door closed ? If yes , then it’s likely to be the door lock or failing that , the boardnomadPaul

Depends on the year. Getting the door off is easier than getting it back on again ! If the customer has the instruction booklet that shows how to remove and refit the door. You could download a copy if the booklet isn’t available.
Basically you open the door approx 30* which exposes 2 large locking screws at the bottom. These need to be rotated 45* to lock the rollers in place. There may also be 2 locking collars either side of the door where the locating lugs sit.
This is where you might have a problem as the locating lugs rotate when you rotate the handle but if the wire has broken , the lugs won’t turn so you may have trouble releasing the door ! Sorry to be a bit doom and gloom but they’re quite a pain in the ‘arris .nomadPaul

Did they use the quick wash programme ? That has no drying cycle.

……and the customer leaving the machine switched on , even after the cycle has finished can blow the pcb.

Can you post a picture of the board components ? There should be maybe 5 chips/triacs grouped together in one corner . Check to see if any of these have the top ‘blown off’ a little . If one does , post the pic and I’ll see if i can let you know what it controls .

First thing I’d look for is a blockage in the sump hose , maybe a rogue sock or pair of pants.

ParticipantRe: Bosch dishwasher overfiliing S51M53X0GB26
Does the heat exchanger full with water at initial fill or does the water flow directly into the tub ? The heat exchanger should be full before the cycle starts as this is the amount of water used during a cycle.

Is this on washing our drying ?

ParticipantRe: bosch wvd24520gb/08 start light on but not flashing
Key ? That’s the child lock symbol so that may be activated and probably needs de-activating

ParticipantRe: bosch wvd24520gb/08 start light on but not flashing
Sounds like door lock failure. Does it make the same 2 beeps if you start it with the door open?

ParticipantRe: bosch dishwasher E14
E13 or E14 ? E14 is to do with incoming water flow/pressure . Could be the contact (flow rate sensor pcb in LHS water matrix) or possibly low water flow/pressure fluctuating if they’re running a bath/shower etc .

When you screw the impellor up and it tightens , can you rotate the impellor or is it jammed and unmovable ? It sounds like you may have the wrong sealing/impellor kit.
