    Re: Rugby World Cup 2007

Can’t wait for this to start 🙂
Kiwi’s , as usual , look pretty awesome but surprisingly have only won the world cup once , in its first year – 1987. France , as the home nation , are also well fancied but i think they will wilt under the pressure of expectation . The Aussies and South Africa are quite evenly matched i feel and could upset the two faves somewhere along the line.
England , whilst not expected to win it , will reach the semi’s and if they do , who knows ?

Dark horses for a few upsets…possibly Argentina or Italy who have big packs.

Love to watch the Pacific nations if they start to throw it around and look out for those big hits from Tonga and Samoa……some of them will probably even be legal 8)

The few times that i’ve had this fault , it has been caused by a faulty water inlet flow meter – Does it have the flow meter fitted ?

Did you change the element from inside the oven ? If so , could it be possible that a wire has dropped off the back of the element as you replaced it ? I’d just check that all wires are still connected before calling out a proffessional……Power off of course

Is it heating on all cycles ? A problem that sometimes occurs is low water levels on 2nd fill for rinse cycle due to blocked ‘ribbed’ hose . This stops the water from heating and therefore no drying properties.

Normal culprits are small fragments of crockery or shards of glass – Has anything broken in the last couple of weeks ? You’d be surprised how small an obstruction can cause probs. Follow richards advice on checking drain pump operation – If you can hear the pump start , it’ll be an internal/pipe blockage . If you can’t hear the pump , maybe just a very faint humming when you get your ear down low to the front door , it normally indicates a blocked drain pump.

Normally , the plastic base appliances (i.e The machines that have a plastic inner tub base ) have a metal plate under the machine to access the workings . As Richardable said please power off before attempting anything.

Plus…should you have to tip the machine in anyway , it would be best to empty as much water out of it as possible.

Martin , i’m led to believe that we don’t make technik appliances , just look after the servicing/repair of certain models (TKL 9260 for example ) . Its funny that no-one in my own company actually seems very sure what we DO produce !!!

sounds ike the base could be full of water…but as Penguin says, model number required – should find it etched o n the top of the inner door

Cheers my chilly flightless friend 😉 Just as an aside , are we talking 4 screws for rear plate inside the oven ? It does look decidedly simple…….

Redflame wrote:Have you tried just plain good old “Soda Crystals” ? – I use this in my Bosch whenever I do a service wash (90’Deg) & then leave the door open for the night – This seems to stop any bad smells. Do this every month whether it needs it or not & you’ll not get the smell anywhere near as bad.

    Hope this helps

PS:I agree that the drum type should make no difference about the smell.
There is a theory that using soda crystals on a regular basis can cause corrosion on the aluminium cross on the rear of the inner tub and this , in turn , can cause black flecks on clothes or in worst case scenarios failure of the cross. We have been advised not to offer this solution to customers.
