So basically no heat when in fan oven mode? Check the element behind the rear panel. Pull the plug first.

If you are not confident, check Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW repairer in your area.

Are you quite sure you want to do this?

    4812 310 28197 – power unit – over £90
    4819 214 78693 – control unit – nearly £50

    All plus VAT etc.

I would seriously suggest getting some pro help – throwing parts at it will get very expensive, very quickly. 🙁

Reversing motor Conor. You can access it from the top by unscrewing the centre column which the bottom rotor mounts on; or you can pull the whole motor assembly from the back, via the rear access panel. Be warned that this is the one with the plastic drive shaft which cracks – only available as a complete motor if it’s gone.

    Welcome on board BTW.

    Regards,
    Chris.

    Hi MM,
Its just a twist fit magnetic pump – remove the hose from the fill matrix to the sump and you can get it from the front.

    Easy peasy.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

No particular specialist tools, screwdivers and pliers are enough. However, the IWMS is £60 some, so I’d be tempted to get some help as there is NO guarantee of this diagnosis – it does need to be checked out fully as there are other (admitedly less likely) possibility.

That’s the impossible question……… Your repairer will certainly bill you for an hours work – the rate itself will vary widely across the country; London prices will be considerably higher than up here in Leeds say.

If there is no UKW repairer in your area, look for DASA, Fair Trades, or Trading Standards logos, or seek a local recommendation. Assuming satisfaction, tell them to sign up to UKW!

Timer fault according to TDS SparkyP. Save a considerable sum and get a warranted recon from EMW.

You could always buy a Bosch WTA2— series machine. Then you get a White Knight with a Bosch badge on the front and a nice stainless steel drum. Oh, and a two year warranty. 😯

Re: zanussi de6744 not working on cycles over 50 degree’s

Strangely enough Ronnie, this fault is almost certainly unrelated to the temperature selection, but more likely to be the water level control system. The clue being the leak…….

There is no simple and easy solution on this one, unless you are very brave I would suggest professional assistance.

Check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

    Mik,
It should be engraved into the top edge of the door inner panel, right in front of the door catch opening.
