I use Penguins bits (sorry, you can have them back soon, promise) with an impact driver.

I wonder if they sell many carbons? I’ve seen heaps of Dysons that need new motors but none with worn out brushes.

More likely the customer has lost track of time and it’s a lot older than she says.

    Re: merloni bearing kits

Don’t pay Merloni prices for bearings, look for a reasonable price kit containing the bearings you need and just buy the OEM seal. I think Connect do an AEG kit that contains the 6205 & 6206 (if that’s the ones you need).

    Re: merloni bearing kits

For the W123SUK you should find you need:
    Bearings 6205 & 6206, seal Part No. 082696.
You can’t buy a bearing kit as such.

One of the longest waits I had was just over 3 months for a Servis AFL door seal. 😯

Board arrived from Connect today. The Connect yellow label says 5031680283655, the Beko label says 2804760190 😉

I’ve not done that particular model but the normal prodedure for models after the Softwave / New Wave series is roughly:
Detach door seal from cabinet, remove motor and disconnect hoses & wiring from tub, move soap drawer housing, timer etc out of the way, lift tub out of the top, remove tub front section, remove inner drum, change bearings.

All they need is an illuminated window in the control panel with the message “Please deposit this appliance in the nearest skip” :rotl:

    Re: Beko Module

Mike from Penzance sent me a board but unfortunately it smoked when I tried it, although the machine worked OK. Mikes board was labelled Y190192, the same as the one shown on Connect but the board on this machine was labelled TR0010. They looked identical but perhaps there is a subtle difference?

    Re: water level sensor

I think we will need a bit more information, eg type of appliance, make and model. 🙄
