ParticipantRe: Qualtex South West Closing
Went in today to pick up a few bits and say bye to John. I hadn’t done too much with them for a while but started to increase about three months ago, even bought my own Bosch dishwasher there. Now the personal touch has gone completely round here.
DATA (Yeovil) last year and now this so stuck with online or a long distance ‘phone call.
Not happy but can’t do anything about it 👿
Good luck John……………..and thanks

Could use that in the morning and it’d save me shaving 😆
Odom, I was looking at the wrong pack. Cheers

ParticipantRe: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?
Hi Bo,
Take no notice of those “miserable old beggars” 😉 (I’m 60 and slowing work down)
I’m with Plusnet for phoneline, broadband and calls. My bill comes out between £27 and £35 per month for all that.
By using a Bluetooth earpiece it means that just by touching the button on it when the call comes in I can keep working or driving and if necessary just say I’ll ring back in 5 mins. No stress, just makes sense to me.

🙂 You just ain’t quick enough Tim 😉
I must be lucky or maybe don’t get enough calls 😳Yesterday…. how much to fit a belt on a tumble dryer?
Have you got a new belt?…
yes!
ok £45.
Do you want to come and see it to check the belt?…
Why?….
As I don’t know if I need one…
Why?. you have bought a belt.
No, you will have to bring one.
But you said…..Ok about £60
Will ring you back
never did
waste of time that bloke

Tim and Dick,
I used to suffer this especially when I got home and rang them back. Now I get all incoming home calls directed to my mobile during 9-5. It costs me £2.50 a month plus some call charges and added to my bluetooth I can answer whether driving or up to my ears in a blocked dishwasher.
It certainly pays for me.

ParticipantRe: For the attn. of the Hotpoint genii
Mike,
I noticed that for a few turns but does it keep on throughout the wash?
You pick up things every day on UKW.
Thanks

ParticipantRe: For the attn. of the Hotpoint genii
I fitted one for a WD440 without a restrictor but it seemed to perform ok.(fingers crossed) Funny thing, I have just found a p/sw 1604008 I’ve had a few years and it’s got one in. Never noticed before.

ParticipantRe: check this out
Good link,
Watched it to the end and agreed with it’s relevance to our trade and ties in well with the Indesit thread.

Thanks Jim,
Somehow I thought you would respond but didn’t want to disrespect anyone else on here.
