Re: replacing door hinge on servis m6513s

If GB Dars don’t supply the parts it’s a cabinet fault and BER but in all the years working on SUK machines I’ve never had a hinge come loose.

    Hi Brian,
Quoted a pcb and she said no so I got her a White Knight which she says is far, far better and the Bosch is in the garage waiting for the summer for me to play with so, I’m sorry I can’t help.
Surely there are some BSH men who have come across this and can throw some light on it?????

    Hi,
these machines are usually pretty quiet. Sounds like either the top or bottom weight has come loose which is not unheard of. Top weight is ..er on the top and the bottom is below the door seal. If investigating remember …unplug and power off. Best way to check is grab inside drum and shake it. If weights you should hear a knock.
    Good luck

    Hi
Bekos’ always skip on after filling then should start to heat. Had a few probs with timers in the last month on this model with programmes taking 25 mins with no heat and a new timer cured it.

    Hi,
High melting point grease(about £2.50 a tub in car shops) I use for taper bearings, not too much mind, just enough to get rid of the grip the seal has on the drum and stop the squeek.

Yep, stick some grease between the rear seal and drum, been doing this for years and never gone back to one
