Not many companys can regas now and some are expensive.
It depends if the leak can be found if it is worth repairing.
The nearest to you who would be able to regas is in Taunton.
You can phone him for an estimate and if he covers your area
    His name is Dave 01823337001 9am to 5pm or 07720506659 9am to 5pm

Yes the compressor or low on gas is the most likly fault.
You also need to check if the condensor fan is working.
The fan is near the compressor and cools the gas and compressor.

It is the inside sensor faulty not the outside one on the poly block.
It is rare for a heater to go on this model.
The sensor plugs into a pcb on the back of the freezer so you will have to take the freezer out to gain access to it.
Or you can cut the sensor wires inside and connect the new sensor and heat shrink ( insulate ) the conections MAKE SURE THE MAINS POWER IS OFF AS THE WIRES STAY LIVE EVEN IF THE POWER IS TURNED OF AT THE MAIN PCB CONTROL.

If the no frost evaporator sensor ( defrost sensor ) is the flat type it will be the sensor faulty.
Fit the newer round type and this will solve the problem.

Have you checked the drain hole inside of the fridge it may be blocked.
You can use curtain wire or a phillips screwdriiver to poke down the hole to clear it if the drain is blocked

    Re: Samsung Fridge/Freezer SL39WJ1/XEU HELP PLEASE !!

It is worth checking to see if the fridge door has dropped as it may not be turning off the light switch and can sometimes cause problems.
The light switch also operates the fan motor.
Adjust the door with washers or just stick a 1 pence coin on top the door to operate the light switch if this is the fault.
If this is not the fault then it may be a PCB fault.
