I’m an Independant engineer, i repair Miele, i am trained by them to do servicing on the range of appliances. Their training & the way they look after you when at training is second to none. They have good service support & share all technical info. Miele ARE very wary of people like us sharing their technology. They spend millions on research & make in MY view make the BEST product on sale. So i suppose i understand them wanting to keep it under wraps. It is a dearer product than all others but in MY view it is worth it. I work on Indeshit & Servis & all other makes also.

How can you “pretty much” track anyone using there mobile phone??

I’ve a laptop connected via GPRS through Orange card in PCMIA slot in side. always on to receive faxes e-mails etc , just wondered if it used to monitor my movements.
My boss said recently (during annual begging/payrise discussions) that “he knew” that i didn’t work the hours i was supposed to be doing…..

On the supply cable coming in theres a termination box, just link the phases together, supply with 240v over live & neutral, you will need a 30A supply.

In the washing machine & tumble dryers the heating elements are all that are benefitting from wired in 3 phase.

Little giants can be modified by just putting in links.

Re: Advice re door on Miele Dishwasher please

At the top of dishwasher, when you open door, just inside you should see a screw, located just to the left of centre, this is used to tension the door springs, clockwise to tighten door, anti clockwise to loosen. If an unusually heavy cabinet door is fitted different springs can be ordered of different colours & tensile strength.
For Miele freestanding dishwashers or earlier integrated ones there are different holes to position spring into.
Just remove both side panels & you’ll see what i mean.

    Re: Miele w844

Yeah its a drive failure for sure, on the new machines with 3 phase motors there is an in built cut out in the motor and these can give trouble, or if theres a frequency converter board, check that the fuse on board has not blown, there is a visible fuse and there is a “track fuse” which is just a very thin track of solder on board. I’ve seen that blown.

💡 BE CAREFUL while working with frequency converter boards there is a Voltage of 400 volts stored in capacitor long after power is switched off. Gives a nasty kick!

Re: Miele Industrial Washer WS5110 missing diagram

I don’t really know which component you refer to, i don’t have any info on the model mentioned, but if its any help on Miele commercial machines i’ve worked on have the option buttons next to the timer. Behind the timer near the back is a plug with option to connect a coin mechanism or token meter, there are certain links that need to be made for machine to work here.

    Re: Testing a Megger

Sounds like it would need calibrated?

Most Meggers generate a power supply to test, this is not so stable or regulated so this might be why the meter you are checking supply with shows deviation.
There are companies out there who calibrate them.

Try the makers of Megger first..

Re: Miele Industrial Washer WS5110 missing diagram

Where is this “component” that is missing?

    is this a commercial machine?
some machines arrive with the option of putting on a coin or token mechanism.. is this what it requires?

    Re: miele ws5426 washer manual

All Miele machines have circuit diagram inside the machine unless someone has ncked it before.
Miele machines (normally) remember the last used programme & save those settings eg, temp, spin speed, water level etc.
Many problems arise by customers not realising this or simply not reading the instruction book.
This machine mentioned is a semi-commercial, known as “little giant”, i’ve encountered knob inner breakages in these which may cause fault mentioned.
