check out hear there is some helpful advise on there & details of how to get parts etc, i’ve had a few problems with their boilers before but nothing a set of thermistors wouldn’t cure, if the button needs to be reset it means that the control thermistor or control thermostat is not functioning properly, BOTH thermostats have to be changed, High limit cut-out & control one, from memory, best of luck..

Yeah very simple as Penquin has said, heater is located at bottom, held in place with clip & seal, check for faulty relay though, i think theres a relay that switches on the heater, i think the relay is located near the bottom where the choke is & cable comes in, (i think, not sure of this model), heater will cost close to £60 & relay would be £25, approx.. best of luck, nice machines to work on.

Same as you mate i’ve referred all them to Hotpoint, so i’ve never even had to do any, done hundreds of the WMs & 95## series, let me know how you go about it, does the fromt come off & drum come out the fromt on this model or is it taken out the top? Reckon i’ll be doing one soon enough..

Don’t think the fan should have anything to do with display, as far as i’m aware theres a t’stat on the top of the oven cavity that comes on when it detects heat & switches off fan after it has cooled down, the display lamp gets a feed through the selectors, whether oven, or grill is selected, so look towards at a faulty switch if it stays on??

Re: Bosch Maxx WFO2466 sticking on programme

Thanks lads for your guidance, just to close this, the fault was , really long outlet hose on appliance shoved all the way down drain to the elbow, obviously was restricting the water flow out & may even have been causing machine to syphon,, anyhows i cut about a yard off it & put hook back on & i’ve not hear of any problems since..just another thing the machines finishes @ 001 never goes to zero even though programme is complete & door opens, customer says it used to go to 000..???

    Re: Hotpoint TDC32P Condenser Dryer

Seems to be me that customer may not be cleaning either lint filter & condenser cassette, if ther isn’t enough airflow through system it will overheat & blow high level ‘stat, & if door is opened before cooling commences same will happen.. These are always blowing & i keep a good stock of these & relays in my van at all times..

Re: Bosch Maxx WFO2466 sticking on programme

Well i’ve had a look at it now, put some conditioner in dispenser set it to rinse programme, machine took in water & conditioner is all gone, programme said 18 mins at start, but it skips a few mins at finish(from 5) & ends at 1, door opened ok, checked filter no blockages, water went out fast enough, tried again & all ok. Collected readies, happy days, 2 hours later grumpy man on phone , appliance doing same thing. Machine is sitting with 1 on display (is this fault code) door won’t open & conditioner still in drawer??

Hotpoint ones are a lot shorter but will do same job, but obviously not last as long.
