The heater must be removed from the new evaporator and transferred to the old one. a tricky repair with sharp edges. Power off if you are going to have a go yourself. Can i suggest the Repairs@ service if you do not feel confident.

Check the seal where the top basket spray arm feed goes into rear of dishwasher. Had one perished and it sprayed downwards under door.

I agree. UKW saved my business a few years ago. Now some of my competition recommend me for certain jobs. Ironic.

May be module. Please do not test live. Unplug power and check for live /neutral using ohms scale on multimeter.

If you see the Repairs@ link on the left of the page someone will be able to advise you of cost. TimeClock on front panel will default to auto on power failure.

Sounds like Element failure and clock has to be set as well. Post ENR no on plate if you open lower door.

Correction, pump available from whirlpool. a couple of hundred quid 8O.
Decided not to go ahead with repair. I dont blame him. Many thanks Mr Finn for letting me have a look. I had fun getting the dishwasher out that had been screwed to the cupboard sides then siliconed in then a granite worktop put over the top of it all 😆

Sounds like you have to find the object between inner and outer drum.
Unplug power if you are going in.
