    couldnt find a 5212 but if its like a 5210 then just the fan symbol is for defrosting and doesnt turn the element on, i take it its an oven thats new to you ?

    there is only 1 part number for front of tub so it should in theory fit the 35mm tub rear

    but people will always want to see it in the flesh and fiddle with the knobs and buttons even if they dont want to buy it from there, so there will always be a market for a showroom wether its an independant or a national chain.

    either that or she was literally putting it on the bottom of the oven and if it has a lower element this will happen as its like putting baking tin on a hotplate.

    float is prob sticking in reservoir chamber behind left hand panel shave 1mm off the end of float and refit bobs ya uncle betty,s ya aunt and the jobs a goodun 😆

    oh yes its a haier 😆 , it will need a pcb, something to do with pcb sensing water is below 10degrees there is a modified pcb apparently.

    also if it has only happened the once it may well be what was actually in it that has caused this, what was in the last wash out of curiosity ?
