Is there 240 volts on the neutral from the neutral of the lock back to the board when lock is closed,if you want to be sure take the lock off and wire it up to test.

Likely when you have that sort of problem you don’t sleep well anyway as it’s always buzzing in your head.
Best of luck hope you get sorted soon.

Bra wires a favourite poking up through the drum now and again.
Splits in drum, raised holes from coins pushing the drum inwards causing sharps.
Run your flat hand all around the inner drum and also press firmly where sides join in case of split.
Shine a torch through the holes towards heater position and you can usually see any foreign objects.

Well,in this upside down pc world, everyman is innocent until proven guilty, however,as you “captured” him you may be guilty of kidnap unless you have cast iron proof that he is guilty of a crime. 😯
Whilst he has made some calls to arms statements” which may have invited others to carry out unlawful acts is he holding the smoking gun ?
Who do you beleive, him,George Bush or Tony Blair 😕

    Why I fired my Secretary.

Last week was my birthday and I didn’t feel very well waking up on that morning…

    I went downstairs for breakfast
hoping my wife would be pleasant and say,
    ‘Happy Birthday!’,
and possibly have a small present for me.

    As it turned out,
    she barely said good morning,
    let alone
    ‘ Happy Birthday.’

    I thought….

    Well, that’s marriage for you,
    but the kids…
    They will remember.

My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast
    and didn’t say a word..
So when I left for the office,
    I felt pretty low
    and somewhat despondent.

As I walked into my office,
    my secretary Jane said,
    ‘Good Morning Boss,
    and by the way
    Happy Birthday ! ‘
    It felt a little better
that at least someone had remembered.

    I worked until one o’clock ,
when Jane knocked on my door
    and said, ‘You know,
It’s such a beautiful day outside,
    and it is your Birthday,
what do you say we go out to lunch,
    just you and me..’
    I said, ‘Thanks, Jane,
    that’s the greatest thing
    I’ve heard all day.
    Let’s go !’

    We went to lunch.
    But we didn’t go
    where we normally would go.
She chose instead a quiet bistro
    with a private table.
    We had two martinis each
and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office,
    Jane said, ‘You know,
    It’s such a beautiful day…
We don’t need to go straight back to the office,
    Do We ?’

    I responded,
    ‘I guess not.
What do you have in mind ?’
    She said,
    ‘Let’s drop by my apartment,
    it’s just around the corner.’

    After arriving at her apartment,
Jane turned to me and said,

‘ Boss, if you don’t mind,
I’m going to step into the bedroom
    for just a moment.
    I’ll be right back.’
    ‘Ok.’ I nervously replied.

She went into the bedroom and,
    after a couple of minutes,
    she came out
carrying a huge birthday cake …
    Followed
    by my wife,
    my kids,
    and dozens of my friends
    and co-workers,
    all singing ‘Happy Birthday’.

    And I just sat there…..

    On the couch…

    Naked.

Popping/gurgling ?,is there any frost build up in the freezer ?may be a loss of refrigerant which makes the refrigerant in the unit run noisier, would also point to the poor temps.

Re: New fan elements – half a megohm insulation.

Had to fit a Neff element today from my van stock it read .5 on the megger so disconnected earth and after ten minutes it read 85 so left it on.
It doesn’t always work but 8 out of 10 will be OK long term and against the hassle of return for me it’s the better option.
Having had it as van stock for maybe 2 or 3 months it’s not surprising that it has absorbed some moisture. They are cheap enough with a decent profit margin so don’t I worry too much about the few failures.

    Re: Fridge Too Cold

Is the 5/6 amn avaerage temp as you mention it goes down to 2?Is it a good thermometer (not the dial type)
Basic fridges like this rely on convection for air circulation in the fridge and different temps of several degrees can be found on different shelves, door shelves are the worst place to put a thermometer.
Remove fridge from fittings and thorughly clean all dust from condenser etc, then run it free standing for a couple of days to test it.If it’s still the same you have as KW says a system fault.

    Re: bosch fridge freezer

Cold temps in the garage may make a difference, try filling a milk bottle with warm water, place in fridge section and see if it comes on within 10-15 minutes or so,if it does you may have an ambient temp problem.
If the garage temp is getting down below7 or 8 c it could create the problem.
