On the upside you get paid a whole lot more by Amica than you do any other SP. 😉

    Jan 28th Ok for me.

Either Hotel fine, as long as the fenwick have sorted their showers or should i say their dribble 😆

In regards to agenda of suppliers as suggested the calibration of meters by ACT.
I will be calling him for an update friday as i will be in the office to catch up with paper work, as i havent had chance to speak only confirmed with email todate.

So how are we going to offer this to the members?

    1) on a first come first serve basis and wta pay all?

    2) at a reduced cost and wta cover the balance?

They have said they will promote it by doing some flyers so need to give them plenty of time to put somthing together.

    Let me know please. ❓

    Re: Suggestion Box

I know its early days and we have been up and running for a 2 months but the only issue is speed of parts! 😳

We (us indies) have taken the service work on to provide Amica with a first class service, which we cant do without the back up of parts.

We sell quite a lot of this range because.
    1) Its good value for money
    2) It has a two year warranty that we provide the back up on.
    3) Spare parts cheap and in stock
    4) Technical back up service information

If we cannot provide a quick turn around this not only lets Amica down as a manufacture it also lets us down as a retailer / repairer on providing that service.
Taking over a week is really unacceptable. 🙁

I have spoken to Simon yesterday and hopefully this will be resolved soon. 😀
I understand that there was a problem with the suppliers of motors and pcbs.

Hopefully they have resolved the cause of the failures.

I would just like to say what a great job the admin staff do in putting up with us 😉

Thanks to Ken & John for all you are doing, keep up the good work.

IMO I dont think there is a need for another washer only £200 less than the 10 with 1/2 of the warranty it is not worth it.

We do need a freestanding dishwasher with the option if possible of building in. Maybe thats too much to ask, but if anyone can do it the Swedes can:lol:

This way we have all cleaning products covered, just the refrigeration to get 😉

I guess it depends what she had in it.
It’s only half or third load on that type of program.
Reset it and get Her to try a normal cotton wash to confirm?

Its a real shame that you hit dead end with your search.

I even called FFR to say you were getting in touch, did not realise you had wrong details, if only you got back in touch.

Sorry we could not have done more on this occasion.

    Thanks for your comments

    Re: ISE website

    Yes fully understand your perdicament.
As you say there is only so much one can do, and you must prioritise the important stuff.

I was thinking at putting some links to dealers around the uk on our web site.
As always having to look up and pass others details on but as its out of date its difficult to know who still current from the list usually end up just directing to ukw.
I get a few enquiries for ise from all over, which is great for our rankings and traffic to web site. 😀 not so good for sales 🙁 but rather we get the ise brand out there than some other makes.

I want to trial it and see, so if there is anydealer interested then PM your email / and contact numbers and location and i will see if i can get something put our site.

Its lacking some ‘wow X factor’ are there plans to revamp the website now we have the s1607xy 10 😉

The local stockist list also need updating.
perhaps have some symbols representing those who just repair and those who keep stock?
I know not everyone can hold stock but this will direct and help the public choose.

Then the same nice lady for the BBC calls me up this afternoon and tells me that they don’t do that much on appliances but, if they do anything again they’re calling UKW first.

Result in some ways I guess.

    K.

They dont do enough on appliances its about time the public gets the information from the horses mouth, rather than the Bo**ocks from the MTBF guy.

Ken, maybe you could do a UKtour visit all the local radio stations and Preach ISE 😉

As mentioned make sure the whole show dedicated to our industry its about time we got some more publicity.

    Steve

The best thing to do first on any fault code a customer calls you about is to get them to do the reset.
Talk them through it why your on the phone.
Then if it is just a glitch or customer error then you lost nothing.
If the fault appears again then you can arm yourself with the appropriate part and call once. 😉

    HTH for future calls.
