    these are a heap of shi*e could be anything at all thermistor,
    heater, door lock, motor. Emw repair the pcbs I had one doing a similair fault, I sent the main Pcb to EMW it tested ok,
    it would be worth sending both boards off to EMW if you can convince the customer to give you time.
    I never managed to fix the one i was at.

    could be either, it happens on the hotpoint machines could even be a wire off of the heater.

    most likely to be the belt tension pulley,
    its the standard wide zanussi one.

    i find if any machine is sticking at 1 minute it seems to be a heater fault.

    No tag = no contact and therefore only the spring and the metal guide are acting as ‘indirect conductors’ which will result in overheating and premature failure…….not good. 🙁

    and when the brush wears down the spring goes into the commutator
    damages the motor blows the pcb and you can sell them a new machine.

    its an expensive item the timer about £70 plus vat connect are out of stock.
    SER516009801 in stock at qualtex £22 plus vat.

    you better check its the right one.
