ParticipantRe: Indesit IWDC 6125
these are a heap of shi*e could be anything at all thermistor,
heater, door lock, motor. Emw repair the pcbs I had one doing a similair fault, I sent the main Pcb to EMW it tested ok,
it would be worth sending both boards off to EMW if you can convince the customer to give you time.
I never managed to fix the one i was at.suedehead1
ParticipantRe: Whirlpool AWM6141/1 Sticks at 1 min

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool AWM6141/1 Sticks at 1 min

I always assumed it was to ensure a good contactYour assumption perfectly correct.
No tag = no contact and therefore only the spring and the metal guide are acting as ‘indirect conductors’ which will result in overheating and premature failure…….not good. 🙁
and when the brush wears down the spring goes into the commutator
damages the motor blows the pcb and you can sell them a new machine.March 27, 2012 at 7:19 am in reply to: Diplomat/Servis APM8703/02 W/D Keeps Filling – Tried… #372073suedehead1
