    Re: punctured tyre

i decided to take the matter further and went round to national tyre services.
i spoke to them on the phone and told them i wanted the tyre back, when i got to the depot i was told that someone had broken into their used tyre store and had stolen my tyre.
i told them i didnt beleive them and they hadnt reported the theft to the police.
they claimed they had shown my wife that the screw had damaged the inside of the tyrewall which was damaged.
however my wife had not seen the tyre off of the wheel.
it is quite clear to me that national tyre services are a bunch of lying b~~~tards.
i cannot take the matter any further without the old tyre how convenient that it was stolen.
    UNBELEIVABLE.

more likely to be a thermostat than a heater.
which would be best tested and replaced by an engineer for less than the price of your element.

    Re: punctured tyre

yes you are correct but i just get the feeling i am being ripped off.
i am always trying to get a few miles more out of my own tyres, when you do a lot of driving you go through enough tyres without having to bin a tyre with loads of tread because of a puncture.

i think remoulds should be banned but i spoke to a traffic cop recently who told me he would use any make of tyre as long as it is not a remould.

hi ken, its a job for a letting agent i know, i went and had a look and the fan motor is faulty on it, connect list the motor at £170 retail price.
its a good 1 hour each way from me plus the time to change the motor and the letting agent is geting some grief, i dont really have the time to do it before i go on holiday.

the letting agent is reputable he is keen to get it fixed, i looked at it as a favour for him but i dont expect anybody else to do it for a favour, i was trying to get a ballpark figure for the repair. the landlord just wants it fixed because he doesnt want to replace it.
    its a zanussi zhc925x.

shame on hoover? just change the pulleys £8.65 each.think of the time it will save not having to strip it down every 6 months to grease it
have a search for vtd00p hotpoint tumble dryer and you will see what shame is.
please dont spray wd 40 inside the silver cover on the back that is where the heater is, it glows red when it is on.

the internet does allow for information to be accessed more easily i just dont think we should put it on a plate for anyone to see what would you rather do sell a se of carbons or get paid fitting a set of carbons.
posting videos on you tube seems to be self indulgent and i think a poll should be taken to see wether repairers think its a good idea
    or not.
i can book up a holiday cheaper on the internet than going to the travel agent but i wouldnt expect the travel agent to post a video on you tube showing me how to do it.

also disagree with letting people have free access to videos on how to fix their washing machines. there is no guarantee if you do people will buy the parts from you.
a nice little earner for me is the resetable thermostats on t/ds and w/ds if customers saw how easy it was they would all do it themselves.

how about a poll on whether these videos should be available or not.
