    Re: no work

in my local newspaper i have 2 new advertisers both claiming £10 off with this advert, do they think the public are stupid or are they desperate.
i am a no call out free estimate type much maligned on this site but this really is a surprising development.

heater or suppressors are most likely to cause tripping on this machine.

why would you pay someone £104 for parts and labour when candy will fix it for £109 ok you save a fiver but you get it fixed regardless of the fault and its guaranteed.

    Re: Hotpoint CTD85 tripping.

i thought i would resurect this post i have had recurring problems with a ctd 85 water is getting into the rear fan and t gets thrown up onto the element and it trips.

i have cleaned the condenser pushed a cable tie down the channel at the back of the condenser and changed the pump but it still does it.

there seems to be water lying in the channel at the back of the condenser which does not drain down into the pump chamber even though i have pushed a cable tie down the hole the water does not drain down.

    any ideas welcome.

Re: Diplomat APM8522 drive belt damaged wiring

they are not that bad and surely must be worth the price of a belt, these belts are elasticated and are common to disintegrate.
i would have no worry whatsoever about changing a belt on a servis i have done dozens and nevr heard another thing about them.

migt not be the pcb could be a water valve or heater plug out if you are checking but it would be better getting out an engineer from repairs@.
