something is stuck in the filter that is why it wont remove fully, you would have to take the hose of the pump to get whatever is in it out it.
    plug out first.

from what i have gathered the lights should flash a certain number of faults then give a pause the number of flashes is the fault code but it sounds like a flow meter or pressure switch fault.
try search facilty and you should get some pointers.

i thought it only needed a door seal as well they must be desperate to go to the length of changing a tub and drum assy just to sell a warranty, i would go out my way not to have to change it.

the lugs on the paddles slot into the holes in the drum then push the paddles towards the back of the drum they will be quite tight and somtimes i have used a lever to push them back.

if the leak is at the right hand side there is a container which fills with water before it goes into the machine visible if you take the right hand side off that could be where the leak is.
    plug out first.

I did have a hotpoint dishwasher that broke in 2 years and for the last 6 months kept overflowing and needed the overflow emptied i have waited another 6 months to afford a new one especially because my kichen can only have an intergrated dishwasher and with twin babies i really dont have time to do the washing up and need things to be extra clean. cheap stuff is designed for people who arent made of money we only have 1 wage comming in now and i hate that people who odviously make enough to afford expensive stuff seem to slag of and look down on people who just cant in an ideal world we would all have the best of everything but the world is not ideal and we have to make the best of what we’ve got so think about how offensive u sound when u say why not buy an expensive one when it’s not an option for some people

why didnt you just get the hotpoint fixed by a reputable repairs@ repairer i am sure it would have been cheaper than buying a proline.

ave you tried pushing down on the front lip of the drum at the bottom to see if it will deflect far enough to touch the outer drum, try it and turn the drum round and try it at different parts you may find it deflecting more at one part of the drum which would imply a broken drum spider.

if its clean water it sounds like a valve, plug out if checking.
