    Re: Stacked machines 🙁

A local dealer to me has started installing fully integrated dishwashers about 2-3 feet above floor level 😈

He is offering this to people who don’t want to bend down to unload the dishwasher 🙄 . Cos it’s so hard unloading a dishwasher at floor level aint it.

    Glue the seal in place.

This was a very common problem with this model.

Totally agree with Martin on this one.

Slimline dishwashers are a pain in the backside. As Martin said the average kitchen can quite easily be modified to accept a full size (60cm) dishwasher.

You will fit far more in, without cramming more than is reasonable in. Therefore getting better wash results. 😉

If I remember rightly, the coding instruction is printed on the inside of the box.

It’s a matter of cutting resistors, depending on spec of m/c.

    Re: BOSCH WVF2000GB/16 Interlock problem

The old locks poles are labelled 2C, 1N and 3L and the new ones are labelled 1, 3, 2 and 4 (4 has no pole connector).

    2C becomes 2

    1N becomes 1

    3L becomes 3

Don’t forget to fit insulating shroud to middle connector!!!

You wont be able to tell by looking at the cable if it’s stretched.

Basically if door unlocks, but has to be pulled open you need a new bowden cable.

Would think that the problem is more likely stretched bowden cable rather than knackered door lock.

The “knack” involes a pair of bent nose pliers and a knee. 😉

Lever off door seal retaining ring

Then get ready with white enamel paint when refitting. As there is a knack to it that comes with time. 😆

    Made 1996.

Haven’t seen one of these for a while now. But if memory serves if the base floods on these old ones the pump doesn’t run constantly (like the newer ones) but stops timer motor running.

Also have had faulty anti flood s/w in the past cause similar problem.

Have changed quite a few display boards on these recently.

However they have NEVER been completely blank, normally a few characters missing on display.

If I had my way I would line them all up and shoot them, closely followed by most plumbers. They should all spend six months trying to repair appliances in fitted/integrated kitchens before they are set free on the general public.

I would estimate that the percentage of well installed, service friendly kitchens in this area is less than 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. Crying or Very sad

Sound of white goods engineers rising to their feet, applauding and loading their guns 😆

The latest dishwashers also have them now Greg. They are fitted in line between the inlet valve and side chamber.
