    Re: Which cordless screwdriver?

    Sounds like you have the same Dewalt that I had.
    That’s why I didn’t buy the replacement Dewalt because it was to big for my overcrowded tool box!!

    Re: Which cordless screwdriver?

    When my Dewalt cordless screwdriver died I bought this just to get me out of trouble;

    As I no longer strip down to do bearing jobs (tub bolts) – a year or so on I find it perfectly adequate for most jobs. One speed though.

    Has this model got an NTC attached to the heater unit?
    If it has then they get damp & the low insulation causes weird faults.

    Brilliant, thanks.
    The customer just wants new drawer parts, no actual leaks or anything.

    I assume you’ve checked for pump blockages etc?
    Or possible pump cutting out…

    Be careful some models don’t like the white ntc & give issues with pump pulsing.
    Keep the black ntc & white ntc to hand.

    Re: Whitegood Fires to be debated on Jeremy Vine

    And on the bit where Jeremy Vine discusses what’s on his show at the end of Ken Bruce’s slot Jeremy Vine states that its not worth repairing whitegoods due to the costs involved – its cheaper to buy new.
    I suppose that is from someone who earns £750K a year…

    Selector switch burns out on these.

    Very reliable electronics on your machine.
    I would be looking at a pump blockage or pump failure.
    It’s extending the drain time to allow the water drain to the correct level before progressing…

    A liberal squirt of switch cleaner in the selector normally sorts it out…

    Power off, machine unplugged of course.

    Re: Bosch WAB24262GB

    Managed to reset it.
    After a number of combinations I’m sure it was;

    programme dial in off position
    hold spin option & start button
    turn dial one click anti clockwise
    release spin & start button
    turn one more click anti clockwise
    then turn clockwise to off.

    It could of actually just been luck & nothing to do with the above…

    I’ve sold a lot of this model & have had a couple of complaints of small things getting caught in the door seal.
    Luckily they accepted my advice to put small bits in a net bag…

    Re: Water??

    Have you tested to see if water comes out of the supply hose when you hold it in a bucket & turn the tap on?
