    Re: Hpt. WF541P Inlet Valve

I had the same trouble on this version and found that an old indesit valve I had fitted perfectly, all I had to do was individually spade the wires.

I think this connect part number is the right fitting:

    I doubt module has fault.

On that model it could just as well be the door handle.

The metal pin which pushes through the hook and spring can just come out of allignment.

If you open the door from inside you can then take the outer trim partially off and re-allign handle parts.

Check the clear plastic part of the door handle hasn’t got a fracture in it.

Wondering if it could be related to the door interlock problems??

Might be worth changing the lock before the fascia module.

    Strange one that!!!!!

If you do get a call back…check the wires to the pump that run down the front of machine from timer.

I had a squealing one of these today.

I’m sure you can do it by taking the rear panel off.

I only had to take the underneath inspection panel off to get to the pulleys.

Cant be of anymore use than that!

Jim, while i’ve got your attention….if you bump into an ISE5 dishwasher
can you try running the test cycle.

I couldn’t get it to play ball.

    Cheers.

    It was mentioned here:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … light=ise5

    But was sort of dismissed.

I haven’t had anyone question it luckily.

More likely circulation motor failure. The click may be a hum?

You know how it is with customers mimicking sounds!!

They will be holding the phone next to the the dishwasher if you ring back!

Cheers Kev, thanks for all your efforts. Its good to know theres some technical info out there for these machines.

Nothing like having a test programme to run. Makes my diagnostic charge more acceptable to the customer. Hopefully. ❓

Swap it out and keep customer happy.

    Thats what I did. 😉

I swapped it with a Hoover PE235, I hope I won’t get told off for that. I know what you guys think of Hoover. 😉

    Re: Hotpoint WD420 dryer problem

Difficult one….we all get customers like that unfortunately.
Sitting with your meter plugged in for 30 minutes has got to be the way forward.

All the thought you’ve put into this one adds up to more time than that anyway. And you won’t get rid of her any other way.
