    Re: Miele G2872 SCVi dishwasher f78 fault

    A google search relates it to a drain pump fault or blockage? But I assume it drains ok. Does the circulation motor kick in when it’s filled to the correct level?

    It says;
    You’ll usually need to pay a fee of £154 if you’re dealing with other people’s waste.

    So are scrap machines other peoples waste? Or your business’s?

    Implying that one of us on WTA would dare inflate the success rate figures in order to win jobs. It’s against the principles of WTA and it is immoral.

    Its nice to hear someone has some decency. Not many like you out

    I used to get customers say they selected people out of the Yellow pages because they thought Yellow pages vetted their advertisers. How wrong they were…

    May I ask what’s your stance on advertising ‘no call out’ & ‘same day service’? If that isn’t the case 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time…

    I had a customer ring who had been managing an e24 on this machine for a while. She managed the fault by opening & closing the door when e24 appeared. (This was after a few minutes, whether she pushed start again I don’t know), I gave a few prices and never heard anymore from her.

    I’m sure Jamie Oliver did this on one of his early programmes…

    If it does the fast spin then stops with those lights on then that means the cycle has ended as it should. What are you expecting it to do after the fast spin but before the end?

    Do check the top dryer sensor wiring. 2 thin red wires. They break and touch against the dryer body.

    Yes back off to get to pump. You should be able to access it without removing drum.

    Was that empty drum or did you have something in it?
    Try it empty if you haven’t done so already…

    Of course I’m responsive to change… I’m going for a power nap before my curry arrives.

    If it was all ok before you did the repair then,logically, you must have wired it up incorrectly.
