I’m too tired for cryptic clues & puzzles. If the end is nigh shall I start building that ark?

I’m sure, many moons ago when this tool was first mentioned, someone said they just use their hands to pull it over the motor.

Indeed there is no separate condenser on this range. (Moulded tub).
The only problems I’ve had on these are ntc faults & blocked fan blades on the blower motor. I’ve never looked that closely at the water side of things but sounds ok to me…

Squirted it a few months ago. It is under 5 year guarantee but don’t want to lose the job. Normally do the oph614’s @ £110 fitted price. Annoying this module is so much more!

    Re: Hoover VHC392T pump?

I had to think what he would think of the newer zanussi washing machines with the lift up drum paddle to access the sump/filter cage. What is that all about? Sorry off topic!!

    Re: Hoover fitting paddles

You can normally tell the difference by the pattern of the holes on the paddle. You can get the customer to describe whilst you look at the pictures on connect. I’m sure both types are originally screwed in.

    Re: Hoover VHC392T pump?

No access from the back I’m afraid. Complete strip down. Bottom exit dryers are bad enough, these top exit are far worse. I would have thought if the pump had failed the dryer would have stopped by now, empty water light on?
If the light isn’t on I would get them to give the condenser etc a thorough clean & try again. You don’t want to be taking this apart unnecessarily …

Just wanting to clarify how we know our name / area has been passed on? I know on previous occasions we have always had to submit & resubmit coverage details.
    Thanks.

At least ‘admin’ aren’t struggling to repair a machine whilst dealing with phone calls. Plus the fact they earn a salary whether or not these calls are dealt with effectively or not. I think us sole traders have got it a lot worse.

Not off the top of my head, but they call it led card version 2. That should help you locate it?

That’s quite a lot of info to try and work out what you mean and in what order this all happened. No display can be door related and stat related. Unlikely to be board.

Re: Bosch WFL245SGB/04 starts / stops.

You didn’t happen to check the heater / ntc did you?
Normally it is the board but I have had one with a faulty heater & one with corroded ntc terminals.
