Re: Bosch dishwasher – faulty on/off switch?

Similar models of your dishwasher with your fault is normally due to one of the ‘chips’ on the control unit failing.
You have to look carefully to see that the top of one chip will have blown. This is normally caused by the heater / diverter assy.

I cant give you a reason to why the switch ‘rings’ out like that but it is normal.

If you have power to the switch & contol unit then I would say the fault lies with the contol unit.

Power off of course when testing / working on machine!!!!!

Re: front door seal retaining spring

You should have tried the other door lock replacement method. 😉

A bit of fairy liquid on the seal & spring. start one side of the spring and tease it round with an implement that wont scratch the machine or hurt if you slip off and poke yourself in the eye. Goggles & gloves and a leather apron would be advisable.

Not too bad really once you’ve done a few.

    Re: Hoover WDM120-01 No heat

There is an economy button on this model. And its normal for the print to wear / rub off. Not sure if you checked for this?
Its an obvious one but not if the print has worn away.

Other than that it could be the module at the bottom near the motor, Im sure it does the heat control. Not that ive ever changed one for that reason, only for no motor action faults.

Or just make it into a solution by adding water & use a wet / dry cleaner to suck it out.

On here somewhere is a reset for this model to clear the error stored. I cant seem to work the search either.

It something along the lines of… turn dial to 6 oclock, hold spin speed button in, turn dial to 7 oclock, then turn dial to off. I think?????

Re: Cancel programme on Indesit wia 101

Im sure this model is turn programme dial to 12 oclock.

If not then its hold start button for 5 seconds.

If you cant reset then this is a module fault.

Re: Creda TCR2 – Water light on

The fact its heating & pumping means the safety stat couldn’t have tripped out because if it had you wouldn’t have any heat.

So I assume from what you are saying its all working now apart from the water light staying on?

The unblocking of the fluff from the channel would normally have given you a not pumping fault rather than a not heating.
Was the water light on before you visited??

    Im a little confused…..
