    Thanks for reply;

by the sounds of it the timer is definately waiting for something

    I thought as much. 😉

It would still be good to have the timer sequence though.

Have the pumps got an overheat stat on these?

Weird fault, but certainly sounds pump related.

Good job he’s got a friend like you!
Sounds like he needs some support.

And some people think being self employed is easy… they don’t know the half of it.

    11 flashes is dryer fault.
    Insulation fault, wiring or module.

Same codes as the Hoover Nextra range. (In known fault codes somewhere!)

Hows it going with these Amica machines?
    Good / Bad?

What are the latest prices & models.

I spoke to Swift a few months back but never did order any as I was getting Hoover in at a good price. This months Hoover deals aren’t so great for me.

Re: Beko WMA1715 – Flashing pre wash light

    Child lock?

If not did you try this reset?

Flashing pre wash LED or flashing start/cancel button on WMA1715 BEKO

Turn power off (not at wall )
    Select 90 degree wash
Press start and cancel button down at same time for 3 seconds and turn power button on whilst still holdingbuttons down– Start light will flash.
    Leave power on
    Select any spin position
Press start and cancel button at same time again for 3 seconds–other buttons may flash-if they do press start and cancel buttons again for 3 seconds
machine should be reset ready for use

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

This New year has definitely brought out the time wasters on the phone. Ive never had so many people wanting straight away calls, no call-out, free estimates, exact prices over the phone.

Ive also had numerous calls cancelling last minute.
If it continues like this you may see me on the news after completely losing it.

Im just going for a lie down, which will be disturbed by another waster.

You may know this, but some models don’t have the magnet or cover fitted.
The customer may have got muddled and thought she had thrown them away.
Of course if the machine is overfilling and running the pump then you know this models needs the parts.

Re: Module Repair on Hoover Nextra style machines- No Pump

On the boards with the larger triacs you can normally see where it pops or the leg of the triac blows off. Ive managed this repair a few times.

The newer boards have smaller surface mounted components which aren’t so easy to change. (Never tried one of these, yet.)
