Sounds like the module, have you got 240v at the fill valve?

    Re: Dealing With “Call Backs”

I always give a 12 months parts and labour Gtee on major parts but not door handles, timer knobs, heater thermostats etc that can fail due to customer abuse. Always best to explain this at the time of fitting parts.
For parts that I do Gtee I always write 1 Year Parts And Labour Gtee on the invoice.

Had this problem and it turned out to be an earth leak on the heating element.

Sure you would have had to programme that board, was there not an instruction sheet supplied?

Re: What are the best quality bearings and where do you buy

Have been using bearing seal lubricant for a number of years now but not sure if it makes the job last any longer though. Did get a call back to a WM 62 a couple of years ago complaining that the machine was noisey after my drum bearing change 😥 turned out to be not enough seal lubricant in the seal lip 😥

A proper job would be to change the motor plug Prt No 1604976, it only takes 10 mins.

When you replace the impellor jug use a hair dryer to warm the blue hose up, this will make removal of the old part so much easier.

    Re: FLE1216W Flashing Lights

Thanks for your efforts Flyman but I gave up on this one, gave him his money back and suggested he called in Zanussi. I did do an earth leak test but only through the mains plug but you could well be right.
To be honest I would have been more thorough on this one but the machine was on a cattle farm so not great working conditions 😥

    Thanks Chris
Went to this machine last week and changed the interface to mainboard wiring harness as customer complained the machine packed up half way through the cycle with all light flashing etc however I could not fault it on the day so changed harness and all seemed well. Now its locked out on E68 😕

No water leaks in the base I assume.
Have you carried out an earth leak test? what are the readings before and during a heat cycle?
Is the mains cable burning out at dishwasher end of cable?
Cannot see the dispenser being the problem.

Re: Yet another gripe at connect.

If parts turn up not sealed in a packet or a box with the manufacturers logo or official sticker/part number on it then it must be assumed a pattern part.
Even if Connect were to use the excuse we take them out the packet as they are easier to store then in my opinion they are no longer genuine parts and come with no quality control assurance.
Some pattern parts are fine but when we request a genuine part and pay the genuine part price this is what we should recieve.

Re: Yet another gripe at connect.

Its their pattern parts scam that really annoys me. They are forever sending me pattern parts dressed up as genuine in their cheap plastic bags with their tacky self printed genuine part labels.
This must be illegal and I am surprised the manufacturers let them get away with it.
Example- Prt No 1240825008.I have ordered this part twice over the last year both times it came with their fake sticker with the genuine part No on it. This Zanussi condenser double valve is physically different from a genuine valve that you would receive from Distri Part and is difficult to fit.
I have complained to my Rep many times over the years ( who I must say is very helpful) but all he says is the part must have been put in the wrong bin. Lets face it, there is not much he can do as they are making a fortune out of this conn.
