Admittedly they were called Abbey then, although they had just been bought out by Santander. Still probably the best deal around for small business banking though.

I forgot this was “free for life”!

I will call them Monday and ask for their definition of “life”.

    K.

Not too sure if I would agree with you, had the Santander account for 10 years without any charges.

    Thanks for the sugestion Martin,

I have double checked on Mediator and can’t see a relay listed as a separate component and didn’t see one when I looked at the machine so get the feeling this could be the main PCB!

Re: BekoWMC61W takes to long to wash.

Thanks for taking the time to look into this, much appreciated.
As you say 225 min’s isn’t far off, they claim it takes about 4 1/2 hours.
They said none of the options are selected and they were only using the 40deg cottons not the 40A+ wash.
I have suggested they run a de-scaler through the machine in case a heavily scaled element is slowing things down a bit but not sure how much difference this will make.
As for the instructions, this is in a rented property so they may not have instructions.
Problem I have a the moment is it needs a new door seal and I don’t want to replace it and then have them create further because of the wash time.

Owner didn’t have any instructions, I checked on the Beko site but it didn’t come up against the model number. I know on some machine the wash time can be surprising but 4 hours is a bit excessive.

I did try searching but I was being too specific using model numbers.

    Blimey,
The spacers look as if they come individually so retail is about £68 for 8 small plastic washers! At least the seal is reasonable at about £12.

    Thanks Bob,

There are numbers for the middle glass spacers but the internal seal is not listed, do you have a part number for that? It looks like a square section with self adhesive strip that sticks to the Oven inner door, I guess it’s possible that it only comes with the door, any idea?

    Thanks nomadPaul,
That’s encouraging, It just looks as if the bolts are going to start to move after a bit of use and wreck the damper fixing points.

I was unable to trace this back to a specific connector.

The photo shows the nearest connect being that 7 way block, so whatever that goes to has to be suspect. The burnt resistor and blown chip would indicate a polarity clash rather than an earth leak. 😕

    I’ll take another look.
    Thanks.
