Could be a blockage in the pressure chamber/sump hose. that causes all sorts of display problems. It is unlikely to be the module. Steve.

Cheers Jem. It would seem that your assessment was correct. I checked out the dryer heaters, one read 50 megs, the other 10 megs. After disconnecting the heaters, the machine fired up ok. Reconnecting the heaters did not reinstate the fault, and it has been working ok for over a month now. Clearly there is some point where the dryer causes a fault, but I have left it as it is for now. New tenant in a rented house and all that. Thanks once again. Steve.

I don’t know of any test procedures or error reading on these appliances, but the usual cause of this is a blockage in the pressure chamber or sump hose. Steve.

All of the above, but another possibility is something stuck in the drum or around the main seal on top of the power unit.

Thanks Seamy, have done all that. Conclusion is that the PCB must be faulty on the power supply side. Cheers. Steve.

Yes, I sort of worked that out, but that is not the fault I have had in the past with the impellor jug. However, I thank you, and I think it is one to watch in future. Steve.

I’m not sure which one this is, but after a recent problem I had, it it has the impellor jug fitted, that is what I would go for. It could be the aquastop valve if it has aquastop. I kow it’s a bit vague, but hope it may be of use. Steve.

Hi Paul. Thank you for advice re Neff dishwasher. You were quite correct, it was the impellor jug. It has all dropped into place now I think. I was thinking that there was a timed fill facility through the module, but clearly it seems that the impellor jug measures the water allowed into the appliance. I assumed the impellor jug was to measure the rate of flow, and therefore also the water pressure, as was the case on most of the old dishwashers through the pressure diaphram valves that they used to fit. Just goes to show doesn’t it. Thanks again. Steve.

Thanks for that Paul. The only impellor jug fault I have had in the past stopped it from filling. I have no doubt that you are correct though. I will keep you informed. Thank you. Steve.

Thank you for that loopey, it was my first thought, but the display temperature threw me a bit. I’ve ordered thermistor, and will, let you know. Cheers. Steve.
