    HTH 🙂

DonTheres a few other makes that also make gas built in ovens too, hotpoint and caple also do them from the top of my head.

Jazzmeister wrote:But yes it would be possible..maybe jet change required …But as was earlier said….if your going from lpg to nat gas…pipe sizing needs to be looked at and i assume it would be moved so you would need a Gas Safe Registered engineer to install it for you…..he would sort out everything on installation i would expect…..he may need to order new jets for you 1st though!

JazzIts only possible if it was made to be converted, conversion is more than just a jet change, the tap would need to have an exchangable or adjustable by-pass.

Is this not a multi function ?

If so it would suggest that instead of being used on fan oven its actually being used on conventional + fan and one of the heating elements has gone (either top or bottom) the common result of this is that the oven struggles to make it past 140c.

If its not multi function then I would go directly to the thermal switch unless the door is nowhere near shutting properly.

I see you’re in the West Mids, you could try Capital cookers at Wolverhampton, they get new and graded Rangemasters, well worth saving the bit extra for, dont settle for a cheaper range if you want a good one.

Sounds more like the very common to these models thermal fuse problem.

Its a plastic coating made to look like metal, before you swap them make sure your cooling fan is operating, this should be activated by opening your top oven door.

They haven’t been made for nearly ten years now, its unlikely that you will get one from the manufacturer.

There is no such cooker 😯 The two companies do not collaborate, You can however get a leisure cookmaster (beko) who have made cookers for stoves/belling/new world.

I dont think Rangemaster would like their cookers being linked with the brands mentioned 😉

No warranty is passed on to a new owner automatically unless it is stated in the instruction book, there is no legal requirement to either as the original contract with the original purchaser has been broken.

Had this quite a few times working for manufacturers who 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time said walk away…… sometimes they had a heart….. but only sometimes.

If you are refitting from scratch I would go for the Rangemaster Classic 110 dual fuel.
DonI’d go for an Rangemaster Elan 110 over a classic, that way you get a fan and multi-function oven rather than being stuck with 1 of the ovens being a simple conventional.

    trickysgrill wrote:Good morning,

We are having a problem with our grill.

It lights but doesn’t catch. By this I mean the flame lights meanders occasionally flicking through the gap in the door and onto the knobs above the grill. It doesn’t go out but the ‘lighter’ does a lot of clicking and the fascia gets very hot.

When this happens the whole oven/grill shuts off, I presume as a safety measure.

Just a minute….. are you grilling with the door closed ?

    If so stop it.
