After thought. Have a very good look at the paddles in the drum. Had drum padd;les break off but then that is obvious but you never know could be split, half hanging off big crack in the plastic that kind of problem. If your lindo is one of the ones with a paddle that allows access to the hidden pump filter you mifgt want to chech that paddle first.

Tank units that you can also disassemble, apart from some Bosch and posher Miele models, to replace bearings and drum / spiders: boils down to Chinese, Korean and vestel Turkish made machines. As far as I have come across this is Samsung, Lg, Haier, Curry`s Logik ( which can be both Turkish and Chinese depending upon the model ) and a whole number of badged brands made by Vestel usually at the cheaper end of the market these brands can be Bush ( although some are Chinese esp the more expensive ones ), Electra, Servis, Royale, Normende, Pro Action, Sharp, Teka, even a Smeg. If this all sounds rather jolly hockey sticks bear in mind the spares availability is often not so jolly nor inexpensive! Samsung and Lg not so much of a proiblem though parts can and do sometimes go obsolete at the drop of a hat 4 to 7 years down the line or can be difficult to get hold of. Vestel and also Curry`s Logik stuff is usually a drum with a spider and officially, at least, a complete rear half tank with factory fitted bearings making their repair somewhat expensive to say the least BUT you can unofficially get just the bearings kit so long as the machine has not be hammered into oblivion ( the usual barmy consumer thing!! ) and so caught early in order to knock the old bearings out rather than ending up with a pile of shrapnel and an outer race stuck in the bearing tube that is near impossible to get out. All the machines that have ever been made will have an aluminium spider of which some are better alloy than others of which there is very little actual info: the more expensive a machine is no guarantee either and can rot out just as badly or on the other hand last 15 / 20years, my old Hotpoint WM56 is still on the original bearings but not the original spider nor its oil seal.

PS e15 is a water leak on the under base tripping a float switch that is common too = no fill drain pump on forever with door shut or door open

I doubt it`ll be that aquastop hose to be honest that has failed. Your best bet is to 1) make sure the actual tap is switched on then 2) start the machine to cancel the previous programme then turn off the machine then turn back on and start a fresh new programme and see if the thing will now fill. Just in case we are not singing from same hymm sheet if the machine does fill and the wash motor is washing but not heating up the heater has snuffed it; not saying it will be but if no heating very common heaters fail on these machines so just look out for that and hopefully you are not another victim the error code for a duff heater is e09 but it can depend upon how and when the machine all went so terribly wrong. The error code e25 is as you figured a pump out related problem ( very common ) just make sure you have the pump chamber cover clipped back in otherwise it will not pump out or pump out properly which can confuse the machine and confuse the hell out of you too..

Really common the heater/motor failure and often repeatingly so too. Based on a SPV2HKX39G/01 the part number you would need is 012014980 called a heat pump priced at £87.23p via Bosch UK spares. But up look up your version to make sure.
Bosch are the main reason I ceased trading in d/washer repairs back in 2018, nothing but trouble and as I say repeated hassle with the new parts failing after 3 months – that part was the main failure point ( there are others ). It such a shame that Bosch dishwasher quality is in the pits because 25 years ago they were great with top notch parts fitted and a good design…..but those days over the years have now dwindled and are definitely now long gone ending up as utter rubbish in my opinion. Even a Curry`s essentials is more reliable at half the price.!!

Paint. YES. + Vestel machines rust something rotten – cheap paint and cheap steel and Samsung paint is thin with no undercoat – once took a Samsung from Sonning Common to Nettlebed unpacked with a sack truck under the rear of the machine. Bt the time I got 5 miles the paint had rubbed of down to the metal!.

well the back of the door seal can droop and when it droops it creates a gap between the rear of the door seal and the drum. The drum itself can only 1) get warped which is very unlikely or 2) appear definitely warped because of a fractured bearing arm which would make the machine sound like a road workers jack hammer on spin – so perhaps you could discount that. A bra wire poking up would almost certainly make a racket too – so discount that one, so you are left with an increased door seal gap between it and the drum so if the gap is 0.5cm or more that would or could cause you the problem = replace the door seal.

Isn`t there a liquid / soap detergent flap in the soap draw main compartment? Do you use powder and if so is the liquid flap set for liquid rather than for powder / tablet? If so that can cause the dispenser to leak. Check the front lip of the door seal for a split ( the lip or flange of the d/seal is what the door glass seals against ).

only 2 things that come to mind that`ll cause that that are not obvious such as a warped drum for some reason which is not common or a bra wire that pokes through a drum hole. More likely to be a door seal gap between the drum and the rear of the seal where the seal droops forward creating a bigger gap – fairly common. Or you close the door on something between the glass and the seal but that would normally tear the seal lip.

Your drum spider support is cracked. The spider ( an aluminium alloy ) has 3 arms and a hub with the bearing shaft, 1 or more arms has rotted and cracked. The spider comes with a new drum as one unit but to be sure I would need the ENr model number as read off your label which is on the inner door frome near or at the top of the door. Not exactly cheap to get done and involved. Most folks would call it a day and buy a new machine and I would advise you to do just that.

Ok so the on/off swt works. At a guess it could be the D7 diode ( if fitted ) on the pcb that is shot or one of the capacitors has snuffed it . pcb is part number 1784000130 but I advise you to double treble check that number and the board first, any domed capatitors is a sure sign . The pcb should not be that expensive ( the trade price is around 30 quid plus vat ) even less if you can replace just the offending component. Beko dishwashers are somewhat famed for broken wire/s in the door loom at the bottom where the loom goes underneath to the various components so maybe good idea to check there too.

Andyjawa, is it really that clear cut? Yep, pretty much though you might get lucky.

All dishwashers are as poor as each other? .As above so yes pretty well with caveats: Miele are the best built but still go wrong.

In the articles on UK Whitegoods, they say: ‘In short, if you want a dishwasher that will perform well, last a good few years without incident then be prepared to spend over £400 at least for a good one or, over £500 for an integrated one. Not so in my view so I disagree with UK Whitegoods which is just fine. Most stuff as dishwashers in C21st are challenged and so that is my opinion of Bosch, Neff, Siemens Hotpoint, Indesit, the latest Beko and subsidiary brands, AEG, Zanussi. BUT THEY DO NOT ALL GO WRONG – BUT MANY REPEATINGLY DO which lost me money with no recourse. Miele are better BUT should it fail out of warranty you will be taken to the cleaners: 1st hour £150. 2nd hour £100 then a charge for every 6 mins – go and look it up – then plus very expensive parts if compared to the likes of Beko.

True Chinese made Kenwood have a few common problems as the sump /outlet pump fractionally warps = a very slow leak = easily cured by using an Askoll pump seal which is 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} thicker.

“Cheap integrated ones almost always come from China
    and go wrong… a lot! “.

Where do you think most of these western European supplied parts come from whether freestanding or intergrated? Make a guess. Not a dishwasher but the Siemens free standing washer dryer is wholly made in China as discovered when I bought a new inlet valve for customer at a rip off price. And so that is why I suggested you consider a 200 odd quid Curry`s Essential ( the Chinese ones were more successful than the Vestel offerings – sometimes seen as a CDA brand AS dishwashers and in my view were simpler, easier to work on than Siemens / Bosch which are a total joke as are new Indesit / Hotpoints and most if not all those already listed above ). When I gave up dishwashers for good after 36 years in disgust thus thowing away 35{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the business – best move I ever made – to concentrate on washing machines and cheaper tumble dryers, many of the C/essentials dishwashers I did previously go to repair only had minor problems – jammed drain pumps was the most common from memory, the trouble was although there are thousands around most either had them under an insurance ( so who really could know how many failed since that info is unobtainable ) or phoned up Currys out of warranty heard the cost of their callout, wet their knickers and so chucked them away and bought a Hotpoint which is like accidently sticking yours fingers in a bon fire but then coming back for more pain to do the exact thing again on purpose, which in-turn leads on to a whole different argument.

If your argument is also about after sales buy a Bosch or a Neff or Siemens they have the best spares sites in the trade whereas with a Currys own brand you are totally at their whims of mercy

Just because something is made in China does not make it good OR, you can say, just because it is made in China does not make it bad BUT parts do have a habit of disappearing and going obsolete at a drop of a hat or a very long wait ( same with Lg and Samsung stuff.) Its a big place as you know with 100`s of appliance companies or a least brands of which not all end up in Blighty, so that is 100s more than last man standing English made Ebac ( who do not make dishwashers – no that daft! ) since the Brits over the last 50 years have screwed the whole thing up…….as expected……as China no doubt will and that will be expected too one day, perhaps tomorrow?

This is why I was looking at the two Bosch and Neff models – is one better than the other?

Basically the same machines with the same grade of parts with the same degrees of potential grief but with different styling to appeal to innate snobbery but on the plus side both have a great after sales spare part set-up.

    Confused? Join the club!

At 20 yrs old the wash motor part number 00267738 £159.41 ( which is out of stock = that is Neff speak for obsolete, I reckon they hate to use the word obsolete due to company coporate image – usually C21st company BS ) has seeped water into its front bearing because the seal is worn out. Not surprised. Time, unless you can get a new motor complete and can physically replace the motor or the bearing and its seal, for a new dishwasher. I suggest you do NOT replace it with another Bosch/.Neff /Siemens as the quality is now poor – the heat pump heater fail which is common out of warranty which is why I stopped repairing them as they were flying back in my face typically out of the short practically useless trade warranties which is 3 months. Actually with dishwashers they are all poor, in my opinion, so you might as well 1) don`t bother and invest in bottles of washing up liquid or if that does not appeal to you ( which i`m sure it won`t! ) 2) buy a Curry`s essentials for around 200 quid and take pot luck since you will be taking pot luck at 500 quid in any case = better to lose 200 quids worth than 500 quids worth. Just my opinion.
