    I found this:-

    Indesit wie 167 washing machine flashes the word ‘test’ and then ‘F-03’

    Looks like you may have open/short circuit on the wash thermistor

    I get the door lock but not the bit that follows…….make a jump between J4.1 and J4.2 on PCB with J4 connector OUT and let wash program run till end…
    what will this tell me?

    what do I make a jumper from, which one is the J4 connector?

    Also “missing carbon brushes?” do you mean a brushless motor?

    If it was a mains power failure won’t the wash led go out also?

    When it was spinning and it goes of the spin led stays on too

    I use a large cable tie around the band, so you have something to get hold of you can either leave it there for next time or cut it off.

    I would add to be extremely careful as I was changing the door seal on a late Whirlpool using the above method when the spring came off one end of the clamp and my hand shot up and hit the crossbar cutting the thumb down to and nicking the tendon, I had an op to repair it. Now I am off work for 10 to 12 weeks.

    Thanks for that but the motor is a brushless one.
    I have now found out that the customer had changed the belt it was the wrong one to long fitted correct one all ok now

    Whirlpools have been leaking from the draw for years. I just silicon up the front row of holes in the dispenser
