ParticipantRe: Zanussi WJD1457W Dryer not working
Just been back to this machine it was the pressure tube that had got damaged by the suspension spring when it leaped out of its space.
How a damaged pressure tube would stop the dryer from working beats me, I can see why it stopped the washer heater from working but not the dryer.

I have fitted a lead and mains suppressor, still trips.
I guess a short in wiring harness is all that’s left.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint FDW70T. Detergent rinse aid draw
I have just been told that the Indesit dishwasher dispenser, Connections part number 5031687839510 is the same part. On Connections website it comes up for the HP FDW50 and is in stock and it shure looks the same.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool AWM5104/4 RCD triping out
Thanks for all the help but went back on Friday with a recon machine and it triped out the RCD.
This is a flat that is let, so along with the owner we got it down to the cooker, if this was switched off all worked ok. No body told him that the cooker was not working! no timer display on cooker. So he said he would just change it.Thanks again
