Smeg/Omega Stoves here do have there common faults
Hinges (The hinges are not strong enough for the larger /heavier doors), elements,big problems with clocks Customer feed back generally not good
But in saying that Smeg service backup in Oz is very good
Ilve hard to get parts Parts very expensive parts average bulid
Ariston average Stoves
Falcon seem to better built There are not to many of these Stoves in market place here Have only worked on couple hard to give overall feedbackRe: work dead
Down this end of the woods there is heaps of work
There is an absolutely massive shortage of capable whitegoods repairers.
Manufacturers are desparate for techs to do Warranty
Mind you some pay better than others

Can also be a water leakage Fault
Water can leak onto base & trip safety switch in base
They usaully can leak from hose thats connected to wash motorRe: FISHER & PAYKEL Intutive IW812 will not drain
Yep experience tells Me more Than likely the motor controller (Main PCB)
Not Unusual to replace for this problem
Only thing to double check is to make sure pressure tube is not blocked
Take It off at the top consule (Make sure water is fully drained from tub )
and blow Thru itRe: Fisher & Paykel error codes
FAULT CODE 50
Hot water valve fault
Check connections to hot water valve
Could be faulty Valve itself
Have you got the tap turned on? to hot water
