ModeratorRe: F & P MW511 won’t turn on
I f no power at all can only relate to Motor Controller(Main PCB)
Beware there are components that can cause MC to fail
Main culprit is usually the Divertor Valve (Located under Washer near the Pump)bigsmokepiker

ModeratorRe: F&P MW511 Noisy Bearing
Fairly big job for the novice
Generally have to replace Shaft Seal , BEarings x 2 and in most cases the main Shaft (Beraings wear a Groove In shaft)
Parts Are Sold Seperately
Seal Part # 425009P
Shaft Part5 # 420794p
2x Bearings (6005) Part # 425006p
Have to remove Outer & Inner Bowl as Complete Assemblybigsmokepiker
ModeratorRe: No power F&P smart drive
On phase 5 pump is used as part of the power supply
Resistance of pump (33 Ohms) Pump also has a thermal overload
If Pup overheats it will cut out Pump overloa should reset after 15-20 Mins
If its not the pump then it has to be Motor controller(PCB)
Beware there are components (IE Water valves Etc )that can destroy the motor controller Ie if you do bang a new one in it could blow againbigsmokepiker

Means Out Balance
Check OOB knock off lever & Microswitch for OOB (Microswitch is normally closed) As opposed to LID Switch
Fairly rare that PCB Goes Bungbigsmokepiker

Most Likely Cause Corred terminals on Out Of balnce microswitch
Numerous Threads on This Isssue
Checking for blockages by blowing thru drain Hose Doesnt mean Theres Nothing Blocked Or Twiste around The impellor of The PumpFebruary 24, 2009 at 4:29 am in reply to: Fisher & Paykel GW709- need help removing inner bowl plz #277809bigsmokepiker
ModeratorRe: Fisher & Paykel GW709- need help removing inner bowl
OK Pump can overheat cut out Then Once cooled down run again If its working onthe smaller washer I presume its Ok
Id would check that it is not getting to hot thou (Just chek after its finished cylce Power OFF )
If The pump is coming on when you first switch on washer I suspect it to be afaulty Motor controller .February 23, 2009 at 12:08 am in reply to: Fisher & Paykel GW709- need help removing inner bowl plz #277807bigsmokepiker
ModeratorRe: Fisher & Paykel GW709- need help removing inner bowl
Firstly PCB Main Are interchangable
But you have to change size setting Numerous threads relating this Ie Fault Code 9
When you say noise are referring to pump running all the time ?
Ot is it Noise from Water Valve ?February 21, 2009 at 1:41 am in reply to: Fisher & Paykel GW709- need help removing inner bowl plz #277805bigsmokepiker
ModeratorRe: Fisher & Paykel GW709- need help removing inner bowl
If its leaking from shaft You will need to replace Shaft seal Probably shaft .Shaft bearings .Would Suggest not use as water can & will leak onto RPS
causing that to fizzle & on to motor causing that to fry the main Module
Part # Seal is 425009P aBOUT $20.00
Shaft 420794p ABOUT $90.00
Bearings x2 425009P $18.00 A pop
To replace you have to take out inner bowl again
You have to take out Outer Bowl complete with motor Pump etc Attached
To get that out you have to remove suspension & drain hose clips Etc etc
Once youve got the whole outer bowl out turn him upside down & remove Motor & stator Etc
Then you can get to shaft seals & bearings
A long procedure for the novice (About 60 mins for a Pro)Pumps Are interchangeable between The GW 709& LW095

ModeratorRe: Ariston margherita 2000
Ariston 1300762219
Bearings Are Standard from Any Bearing Supplies
Shaft seal & shockers You would have to get from Ariston
Try UK Parts as well, they may well be cheaperbigsmokepiker
ModeratorRe: Ariston margherita 2000
Depends which Brand of Washer

Lift lid
Remove Two Screws From The Front Hob (Theres Plastic caps over Screws)
Hob Lifts Back
Remove Agitator
Unclip BIAS spRING From front left suspension Rod
Remove Bowl Cover (Plastic ring)
Bowl Lifts Out
You can remove 3 Spline Drive Screws (IE Drive Spline is Plastic Piece Under Agitator)
They generally come out with not much fuss
Just use a bit of back & forth up & down movement
OH Yeah power off -
