superfix wrote:Yup, attack from the back π³
The plate you’re talking about is screwed on from the back, but also has a high temperature adhesive applied :rolls:
Said adhesive sticks like sh1t to a blanket, run a stanley knife round a few times; then prise it away with a large flatblade π
BTW you’re supposed to re-apply the adhesive after repair, but unless you want to struggle again next time I wouldn’t bother.
HTH
Adhesive no longer a required. π

now, its well under guarantee,,,, so im sure i read that if you call the enigneers out, and they find a wire,, you get charged as its not a manufacturing fault,,,,,,,,,
how do i find this wire myself if its not actually in the drum but somewhere between????? can it get out thru the coin catch thing ??
hellllllllllllpIf itβs a wff2001 then it will be under extended rather than the manufactures warranty.
Many of these insurance backed extended warranties also cover βaccidental damageβ.
Iβve removed many bra wires π³ and billed the insurance/warranty.
Read the policy document and/or phone to ask if you are covered.BSH-MAN

What I would say is when you replace the impeller jug, make sure you make a note of the orientation of the old one, its imperative πGreg

ParticipantRe: Bosch KGN33V00GB cool air distribution question
It sounds like you may have a ice build up in the freezer section blocking the duct to the fridge.
If you can, try and defost the freezer and then restart.BSH-MAN

ParticipantRe: Neff U1524 double oven – fault code “-5-” ???
This is not a fault.
It is indeed a “S” not a “5”.
“S” for “safe” is a child lock.
To operate the lock (on + off) you have to turn the selector switch from the 12 o’clock to 1 o’clock and back again several times quickly.
I think it’s 3 or 5 times IIRC.BSH-MAN
ParticipantRe: Neff 1420 fan problems
Did it work fitted to the oven but with the cowling off?
If so, check the inside of the cowling for fat deposits that may catch on the fan blade. -
