Bet you wish you had that when you were a kid now. Whole weeks off school…… mine had it at 6 months and at 2 years so no future worries there.
watch out for that calomine lotion stuff…….have to rub it everywhere 😆

really though, feel for you. Hope you can get back out soon.

Are you sure you dont have more than one element? Often 2 (1 top and one bottom) for the convection setting and a thrid element around the fan. Sounds like the fan element may have gone. You need to post the correct model number (starts either 611 or 911) for any further info.

test the motor and stick a fuse in, usually find the end caps pull off the fuse easily allowing a new one to be fitted, if not just solder one in. Check the wiring form the motor socket to the motor internals has not chaffed against the metal bracket that supports it.

Guess you really need to find out where the chattering is coming from and go from there, could be a duff pcb. Just wire another coil on that dispenser just to make sure. The fist dispenser coil may have done the module in.

It means the flow meter is duff……..only problem being it doesnt have one!

Its a software glitch easily solved.

With the door open, turn on the appliance and within three seconds push 4 times on the program selection
button – The test program has been selected if the SOAK and STRONG LED’s are flashing
This LED combination represents the test program for the appliances that have a flow meter.
If the above indication is not shown on the appliance, switch the appliance off and try the sequence again
until the above LED’s are shown on display.
Now push on the program button once more to select the version ‘without flow meter’, check that the SOAK
LED goes out, and the display is indicated as below.
Do not close the appliance door, to complete settings switch the appliance off.
Now switch the appliance ‘on’ and test on a SOAK program.
It is possible for this fault to exist on earlier models, if the appliance has had a PCB replaced with the latest
    version. (earlier model are ADP8112 & 8132).

ps have emailed you the full coulur version.

If the thermostat pilot light is coming on it will be a good sign that the thermostat is ok. It wont be the timer contacts as that would cut the fan as well. only thing left is the commutator, assuming the wiring is ok. Some SMeg dual fuels have a multi plug connecting the control panel to the terminal block and elements on the rear and these have been known to burn out. Stupid thing, but make sure you have checked to correct element as its all too easy to pull the wires off the grill element just above- done it myself!
