Sounds like the anti flood on the inlet valve is operating for some reason and releasing some of the pressure on the water supply is clearing it? Dont know the model but most DD dishwashers with the hidden heater element have all sorts of weird faults caused by the heater so check its not earthed.

Done that but get the message that I need something called “.net framework version 1.1.4322”

after following the instuctions to download that, I end up with version 3.***** and still get the message from that I need the earlier version.
Will call them tomorrow and try get it sorted. Never had to download a “login Programme” on any other web site.
Not looking good at the moment and IMO nothing wrong with the old spareslink which they should have left running for a few weeks for problem sorting.

Oddly I have only put my back out lifting light things, a single oven once comes to mind. I think its the height of it that matters. Also, leaning over doing old fashioned wire for wire timer changes (candy turbo esp) leaves me in pain when straightening up, thank god those are very few and far between these days.

    Re: Hotpoint oven 6142P

Yes, I too always normally manage to make an element fit an odd cooker but the strange non symetrical mounting bracket and the fact that the back panel inside the oven that covers he fan and element is baffled on this model making even a slightly too big one impossible to fit. Connect and Qualtex quote correct dimensions but what turns up bears little resemblence to them. Its good old fashioned dodgy pattern spares IMO. I guess this oven is so rare that no one has complained about it. The connect one I fitted I have had in stock for several years while the Qulatex one I only ordered last week, yet they are obviously from the same source.

so, say they do shut down “service and support” what will happen to their service? Support from Italy? or just no service? Not that we have had any “support” from them for many years…..

    Re: ADP8322 Dishwasher Problem

IME, nearly all unexplained failures on these are due to the water indicator being blocked and not registering that the water has drained out. Assuming the switch of the WI is ok it does not normally show a WI failed error. Only way to be sure is to replace it.

length of capilary is critical on these, would go for the gen version. Part number is correct and there is only one but the diagram shows it as either being fitted inside the fridge in the light box or on the top. Whichever, its the same stat.
