    Re: First Photo

We (well I) kind of got the opinion at the meeting that Silver had been decided, rubber stamped and into production and yet, only a few days later we hear that is not the case. Just how far down the road is this project I ask myself and you?

Woke up this morning is actually on their first album, Exile on Coldharbour lane. along with the classic “aint going to Goa” and the super cover of “Speed of the sound of lonliness”. It may appear on other compilations, i dunno about Le Peste, its not on my copy anyway but may have been tacked on at some point.

Anyone into Primal Scream will have been a big A3 fan for years.

    Re: Questions

I have a suggestion regards the silver white thing, while i think its best to concentrate on white (we were selling 9 white Asko’s a month which dropped to 1 every 2 months when they concentrated on Stainless steel only, yes the price hike didnt help either but most customers were turned off by the stainless finish). My suggestion is a chrome/silver effect door rim. After all it has served Miele well over the years and the old Philco heavy duty machine used to stand out amongst the crowd with one, so much so we used to ofer a chrome door on a standard Philco as an upgrade and did very well out of it.

Sounds like you have a dead machine then, The power button on this model does not illuminate anyway.
Could be anything really, the only thing you can check is for a blown fuse or a switched off supply somewhere, check the switches on the wall above your worktop as its surprising how often we get called out for that very simple oversite. Other than that its engineer time really.

No, but for me to put it into words is!
I have this oven a home and even I, supposedly a pro at this lark, struggle after power cuts and time changes.

Re: New World Twinline 4000 – How to set clock/timer

If its a 5 button version, then to set time of day:
press and hold the “hand” button and keep it held
press the “end” button as well for 2 seconds or so, release this button but keep the hand button pressed.
now use either the “end” button to increase the time or the “C” button to decrease the time. When the hour is correct release this button, whichever one you used. But keep that Hand button pressed!
Now again use either the hand or c button to set the minutes and release when it is correct.
Finally, you can now release the hand button!

Just dont ask me to explain the auto setting, its just too complex.

i think I need to end this now as i am already now planning to skip breakfast after that last post. Infact, you were all surprisingly close, well done to all of you. But Alex was the closest. it was a blocked sink cleared by one of those pnumatic cannister power surge drain cleaners! Of course, this was never mentioned to me at the time hence the head scratching and accusations of a bodge by A.N. other.

We have had this discussion a few times, the problem with Jubilee clips is their width and bulk is a bit too much for some applications. Do a search on narrow jubilee clips and you will find the name of companies that sell better suited screw clips. I did invest in a “click” clip tool but have never used it. The problem being that all those clips in use today are of different manufactureres and the tools are not cross compatable.

Re: Safety Issue on Hotpoint Dishwashers

I am sure this is not the case with these dishwashers and I think the old law about not being able to reach a live part without using a tool still stands. I reckon the plastic covers behind the kickplate, (itself retained by screws and plastic claws) must have been missing on the one you saw Bob.

    Re: Parts Center Website

You need to hit the “Save” button, then in the “Save as” box give some sort of reference number or name. Then ‘save’ that order and it will be saved forever and retrievable at any time under the Floppy Disc Icon “View saved Packs”

yes, but the point I was making was that you cannot save a single line, there has to be more than one line to save. I had to add a hotpoint carbon brush just to save the first line, after all an order has to start somewhere, and then delete the brush when another part is added.

Both, they are now both fitted with the same style band, only the size differs.

Almost certainly brushes, I think the error code refers to no tacho pulses being recieved, due obviously to none being generated.
Check also the motor plug, pull on the leads as sometimes they break internally here.
