    Re: Bosch sps5462GB/18

This is a 45cm model, we had one this week with a broken impellor giving a very similar fault system. Not a job for the faint hearted believe me, get some proffessional help.

Its about time we instigated some kind of initiation ceromony, you know, forced to drink alcohol free lager, fit a pump to a Haier dishwasher or made to watch a whole ten minutes of strictly come dancing (maybe thats pushing the limits a bit too far).

Did anyone ever get any of these elements? Our last lot ran out last week and we had 8 calls enquiring on Tuesday alone. (all the customers are calling with the part numbers so we know they have been doing the rounds. Most of them quoting Belling numbers) A lot of turkeys are gonna be uncooked this year. 😳

    Re: Homark Oven Elements

The instruction manual does not refer to it because its not a diy job. The element will be under the base of the oven and is accessed from the back so the oven needs to come out of its housing. If you do attempt it ensure the oven is completely disconnected, either switched off at the cooker point switch or unplugged, whichever is relevent.

    Re: AEG Dishwasher Favorit 50730

It depends on what caused it in the first place. The only thing you can try is to turn off the water supply to it and disconect the fill hose from the tap and then simply re-connect it and turn the water on again. This releases the pressure on the anti flood valve and may cure the problem for now but not the original problem so try the wash programme again and keep an eye on it. Always ensure your filters and the sump under the filter is clean and free from any food debris. There are many versions of this complex machine and we would need a product code to advise further.
Dont attempt to remove any panels from the dishwasher without unplugging first.
If you post up your post code I am sure one of us could visit you before Xmas.

    Re: Revenue Report

Most of the ideas here are sound pretty good, excepting the ‘rainy day fund’ I am not so certain that would be such a great idea and has the potential to bleed any funds we have/will have in a flash as well as causing bad feeling should that money not be re-paid. I would not be too happy if these funds were being used to prop up a poorly managed business. OK most of us here know each other too an extent but the potential is there for someone to take advantage.

Re: Dyson washing machine stuck in test mode

There is a display/domo setting for the Zanussi XL/AEG range (the ones with the configuable modules). When in this mode, it will do all functions without water or heat. Very useful if you think you are not going to be paid……

I agree this is a very easy way of issueing a county court summons, far easier than filling in the form longhand and the cost is infact only £30.

check motor brushes (most likely, I know it sounds odd) before doing anything else. If not try for an open circuit pump (less likely but not unkown)
