If the dispenser hose has a U bend in it, check nothing metal has been “posted” through the dispenser. Had something like this on a Candy turbo 21 once and only discovered it when re fittig the tub after replacing the backplate. We were not happy that day

I had the same on my dispatch HDi while our other 1.9D Dispatch has had no such problems on the same tyres. Put it down to driving style.

check in the folds of the door seal for rust marks. Even it the cause of the marks has been removed, the rust can still migrate.
I would file this in the rather you than me file. 😕

If the pump had failed in that way, almost certainly any safety stat will have tripped, hence no heat and the possible cause.

Cooky, welcome to the site, if you do a search for WEE from the link a bit further up this page, you will find we have had several threads about this.

I have not actualy seen it and ringing Caremark is not as easy at it sounds. Used to always look this sort of stuff up on their web site back in the day they had such services.
Never mind will try again on Monday.
    Thanks anyhow.

Is that referring to me? 😯
I am neither from Hertfordshire and, a rarity in this forum (excepting young Ken) have all my own hair thank you. Oh and Chris of course.

Thank you for the welcome, although I know all of you anyhow having been a veteran of the old Yahoo forum before some of you lot were even around.

I have been catching up here, and I thought the subscribers forum was the inner circle…… hope they dont feel left out in there…… got all your mobile numbers which are always useful to have when coming home drunk on the nightbus and i am really not going to even ask what the Northern Kamp was.

seriously though, not yet sure how or what to moderate. if we see a dodgy post is it one big race to be the first to delete it?

    Anyhow thanks again all.

We really wouldnt recommend bypassing anything, even for test purposes, unless you know what you are doing. Some of these are safety stats and are there for that reason.

I must admit that altough we visit many ovens with the rotisserie feature, i dont know of anyone who actually uses it (maybe for this very reason) or buys it for that feature in the first place. Therefore I personaly have neve heard of such a complaint. Does it state in the spec the max weight that can be used? Post the model number and maybe on of us can look that up.
Your 20 year old creda may well have been better and stronger built but, not wanting to sound like an old person, nothing is made like it used to be and a current Creda or anything else in fact would be up to that standard either.

Not too many problems but they are a very basic fridge for the money, not a bad thing in terms of reliability though.

Yeah, we have done 2 in the last few months, seems the thread on the motor shaft has rusted and no longer connects with the impellor.

Had a customer today, D&G are replacing their 3 year old cooker due to the unavailability of this element. Someone somewhere within Merloni has a lot to answer for.

    Thank you Martin and Eddie.

Eddie, for the record, was our first ever employee, way back in the 70’s, before me infact and I owe a lot of what I know to him…. and he is probably partly to blame for me still being here. Thanks again! (even though he seems to have become a bloody northerner)
