ModeratorRe: ISE Website & Videos
had a complaint from a customer who says its just too difficult to buy an ISE on-line. I have just looked on the ISE site and, maybe its me and it there in big neon lights, but I cannot see any way of purchasing a machine. Even if going to the ukwhitegoods store its still not obvious how to buy one. Why not put a big buy now button on the site?

yes,was there Jim and that goal looked far better on tv than it did from my vantage point near the corner flag. Thankfully Bales’s free kicks got us out of trouble but even Bale was having a bad day up till then. From where I was standing at least 2 easy goal opportunities went begging. As for Clint Dempsy… he really has to go. Man of the match for me though (free kicks aside) had to be Gallas.eastlmark

Blue Badger
if its the Asko washer you mean Jim then I think I was there last July in the infamous Shulthess thread. If its the Blue Badger then hands up, but until that catalogue dropped through the door yesterday the name meant nothing.
Have they got us from the WTA or what?eastlmark

funny enough I got a catalog from these in the post today. Interesting reading and very interesting prices, another world away from our stuff. Notice the Asko made washer in there for £1.8Keastlmark

ModeratorRe: Smeg Wdi12c drum
outer drum has a removable front plate but the weight is also part of this and is prone to cracking a falling apart. Inner drum and spider are available seperatly but need the serial number to confirm which parts. Double check its a wdi12c only as there are several variants eg: WDI12C1, WDI12C6-1 etc. Dont go on what it may say on the front panel.

ModeratorRe: Vow of silence of what?
Very short on content IMO, Martin and Dr Dill you didnt miss out on much although Ken, Ian and Lawrence put on a good show as usual to be honest it could have been fitted into just the morning session. Swift guy is always interesting. And at least I did not see anyone fall asleep at any point this time. Trade stands were excellent however and I hope those attending found it worthwhile. I guess the evening bar sessions are where the most trade chat goes on but sadly I couldnt make either evening on this occasion. Thanks to all for their efforts in setting the whole thing up as without it this trade would be a very lonely place.
Lastly Martin, I dont think there was any “great fanfare and expectation” preceeding this meeting, it was very low key and barely promoted at all.eastlmark

I’d hate to be the poor tech that has to call to repair it, you get enough grief from Mrs Bucket with her £799 washer from John Lewis, nearly 3 grand it’ll be your boll888cks if you cant fix 1st visit. :rotfl:
Oddly IME, the reverse is true. Assuming its someone that can afford it, then the more they pay the more understanding they are regards service. They also believe they have an exlusive product and only a specialist can repair it so are content to wait it out.
If they cannot afford it and have credited themselves to the hilt to buy it then its a different matter. See my older “smeg in a council house” for thoughts on that one.eastlmark
ModeratorRe: ISE10 Delivery
not getting any better….. let down twice this week. driver sick and then no reason for today. Wouldnt be so bad if they didnt ring the day before to confirm a delivery time with us only to call back on the day and cancel. rubbish service IMO.
and just to rub salt into the wound the invoice for them arrived today.

Microwave gone black inside can only mean one thing… and not the fault of the dishwasher.

ModeratorRe: £3000 Miele
looks as though the cheapest 10 year warranty Miele is the W3240 a very rare beast indeed on my brief search for one. The next up is a w5824 which tips the scales at anything from £1059 – £1300 with a 7kg load. even then you have to redeem your extra warranty within 28 days, something a lot of folks are very lazy about doing.

Thanks. I do know how to fix them, just wondering if anyone had a power module failure or anything other than the plug/socket.

ModeratorRe: SIEMENS DW – SE24233GB/01 heater and board failure
heater is 652216 (5031681373485 at connect) but would be suspicious of both being faulty, if the pcb has gone on the heater relay then the heater is probably ok, and vica versa if the heater is gone.
