    hi Lawrence

I sent him a few bit but on the circuit diag it mentions coming off the IO board

a loading pump. not sure what they mean by this, not mentioned in part list, may be a language thing

also lists a drain valve cant think what that is either as it also mentions pump.

may be a Turkish thing lol

    any ideas ?

    Re: LG Tumble dryer TD-C70040E

you seem to have covered all the possible faults. if its not blocked and the pump is ok then as far as I know all that is left is the main circuit board is faulty. some dryers have a float system to detect water but this is normally by the pump so I would have expected your engineer to have checked it

also did your engineer check the pump was working before he charged you? or did he just swop the pump because he thought it was a good idea

did you actually see and keep the old pump ?

    Re: Caple Fridge Freezer

at the back of the freezer you will have an evaporator. below this will be the drain hole

this unit is common to all self defrosting freezers and is at the back of the freezer behind the panel

if you panel is a large cover you will find this unit behind it

    Re: Caple Fridge Freezer

all self defrost units have a drain hole that lets the water get out and normally goes down a tube to a tank on top of the compressor where it will evaporate

    check this tube is clear

the first thing to try is a total defrost. it may be frost free but its not totally true and they can ice up

switch off and leave doors open for about 48 hours and try again

you need to find the heater. disconnect wires,
then with a multimeter on low ohms scale test it. you should get under 100 ohms.
if yes its not the heater if no change it . its important to check the heater from the terminals where the wires plug in

Re: New beko motor having different number of pins?!

you state your model as wme8227w

    there are 2 models WME8227w 7134381700
    and WME8227w-1 7134382000

they are listed as having different motors and that is probably why
