are you sure its the thermal limiter you have got ?

there is a thermostat for the cooling fan

    you should have C00089573

    not C00081599

    Re: Hotpoint 9605 top loader.

as the clutch shoes wear they get smaller and lose weight so don’t work as well

as Lawrence says rough it up a bit but change it if it works

while your there check the pump for leaks as these used to go constantly after the motor change on model 1504 . if these go they leak on the motor and destroy it

if the motor has gone its a complete motor only, no parts available and a very silly price

Re: AEG oven temperature always too high

you cannot adjust the temp only change the thermostats

    but beware

the top oven is a convection oven that is heated by 2 element. one is part of the grill element and the other one is below the floor. if you place your thermometer on the floor it will be heated by the lower element. it is best to pre heat before adding the thermometer and then it must be on a shelf

the main oven has 2 modes 1 convection as above so the same rules apply but also 2 fan mode which will be hotter where the air exits the fan unit at the rear. so its important to put the thermometer central

never heard of this but it is a user instruction not an engineering fault so it must be in the user book.
if you have not got it try to see if you can download it

beko shows part no as 2961561501

    also

from picture of board the power supply is the collection of components on the pic. look for bulging caps on the low voltage side ( small caps on right ) or you could try changing power supply chip the small chip in middle ( cant see if a 7 or 8 leg version) they are very cheap

you also need to look for possible leaks over the pump so it wont re-occur

Close the machine door if opened. Switch to service mode. To switch to service mode, move program selection switch to CANCEL position. Then, while pressing START/PAUSE button, bring the program selection switch to the first program in the clockwise direction. Front door will be locked in the service mode.
