    Re: AEG dishwasher module setup?

thats like saying they are perfect and never make a mistake

i can understand their position have seen the problem at my local wholesaler years ago. he used to give me the fauly modules to test and 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} were ok and some of the rest were blown through wrong connection

thanks m8 yes spray arm in place and yes my case has the block moulded in the casing. will post the correct model and serial if you can confirm correct rotor number but from what your saying sounds like someone else has got it wrong. the only prob for me at the moment is i left the rubber one in the working unit let hope it keeps going till i can get back

wash pump cant cause this but a faulty power supply cap in the programmer might. cheap fix if it is.

    try this for clues

    cheers for reply John

already swopped rotors both units seem to have different rotors

the main difference is the pump unit at the base of the rotor. faulty one had soft rubber impellor working one had hard plastic impellor. i found the faulty unit seemed to pump out a lot better with the hard blades.
since both units are the same is this soft blade type a mod or is the wrong type fitted?

will try hall sensor just seems weird that it only failed when the rotor got jammed with gum

    Thanks

if you cancel the programme does the pump turn off in the end or keep running

if it keep running suspect faulty triac in the timer

Re: Smeg burner won’t stay alight…..

you cant bypass the thermocouple as far as i know and could not recommend it if i did know. check the connection is clean where the thermocouple connects to the valve. make sure the end in the burner is getting hot enough. ie no blocked jets etc

Re: E10 error code Electrolux ew14450w

from what you are saying it only gives E10 when you use the hot air dryer but if you select a wash only the machine washes and spins ok with no problem

the dryer is a condensor dryer and uses a small amount of cold water to condense the steam. if this valve fail to open it will give this fault. it is a seperate valve and only used in the dryer

this is a long shot but have had connection problems on the front panel of this type of machine before

there is a 4 wire lead going from the main board to the front user panel. unplug machine, disconnect this lead. plug machine back in , turn machine on, wait 10 secs, turn machine off and unplug, reconnect lead, switch on and try

Re: AEG L11842VIT integrated washer dryer

have had a bit more time

have check 2 of the machines at random and they both have different boards despite having the same model no

looked up one on connect and they want £96 plus vat

i would ring lux trade on 01325 302464 when asked for a trade acct no just push #. you will prob find its cheaper than connect as they inflate prices and they will take a cc no over the phone

Re: AEG L11842VIT integrated washer dryer

had a few of this type of board fail. my veiw is it is because it is integrated and client does not turn it off so board is on most of the time
look at the board where the power goes in and you will find a resistor. most of the timn its green with a value under 100 ohm. check this resistor. if its blown then it will be the power supply chip which can be fixed
when you buy a new board make sure its the pre configured one and make sure you check the prod number as there are 12 machines with the same model no
