Re: Bosch WTE6920GB condenser dryer drum not rotating

could be as simple as a badly soldered relay on the pcb

Re: Hoover A1110 – No motor action

    from memory

motors are simple 2 pins for armature poss going through a toc
2 or 3 pins for field coil
    2 pins for tacho

thinks if tacho open circuit motor wont run

dont know what you mean by 2 square toc

should have info but would have to dig through old manuals. let me know if you want and i will look and try and scan it

have you checked whether this unit is covered by the bosch recall

find the FD number on the dishwasher label ( normally on top of door on stailess part. its a clear label so look carefully you can miss it till you see it )

if the FD number (1st 4 digits) is between 7901 to 8504 contact bosch to see if yours is covered. this fault may be the reason for the recall

a lot of tumble dryers wont turn the heater on till the motor is running and there are damp clothes in the drum

cant say why motor is not working but if you have an ohm meter you can check for continuity between all connections with motor disconnected

Re: Electrolux Esl43010 Won’t Start, Need Help ASAP Please

common fault on this range of macines is the door lock

when you close the door does it close with a clunk or does it just shut with no noise or feeling of a latch closing

if door lock gone machine thinks door is closed so will not progamme.
if it has gone, its not your fault, and part is cheap

    hope it helps

Re: Motor switch for a whirlpool 3rleq8033sw2 american dryer

from what i can see the answer is no

have a look yourself. go onto whirlpool in the states. they publish the diags online. model differ slightly as it is the american units but if they dont supply it in the states it will not be supplied over here

    assume you got model wrong
    i got HB86E760B/01

these units are panasonic based. if the unit does not produce microwaves it shuts down. ie you can set the time and start it but it will shut down after about 10 secs if the mag does not start

cheapest option is the mag but if the invertor has gone estimate for changing both. have found the chapest place is ebay there is a guy in scotland and his prices cannot be beaten
unfortunatly there is no easy way of checking which one had gone. i do it by swopping in a spare mag

    hope it helps

have you checked continuity from heater to relay to make sure it is not connected to anything else. if the wire goes directly from relay to heater, and the relay is sound, and not being powered on, then it cant come on

    at least thats my theory

Re: Stoves gs550 fan stays on all the time.

fans on ovens are controlled in 2 ways

1 a thermostat that brings in fan when grill or oven gets hot and switches off when it cools down
2 a circuit board that start when you turn the unit on and leaves the fan running for a given time after you turn off

with you cooker most likely a circuit board but cant be certain as i cant find any results for your model

suggest you contact stoves and see if there is a fan pcb on your model

Re: alt part for Fan Oven Element (TEK528373)

    what a silly price

did a search on the gen part number no joy

which element has failed grill or oven ie 2300w or 1100w

if its the 2300w then contact T P Fay kirby merseyside. they make elements but you will have to send the old one to them. use them all the time for akward elements or very expensive ones

Re: Old Trustworthy AEG Lavamat 635 Washng machine

the part at the back of the motor is the tachometer and is a magnet inside a coil that generates a voltage dependent on speed

if all spin speeds are slow i would expect wash speeds to be slower as well

check pumping if it cant get rid of water drum will drag
