as far as i can remember to get out of child lock mode

start with knob on off

move knob 1 click anti clockwise and then back again three times in quick succession

even instruction book is not very clear

also how are they getting your credit reference report without any kind of permission data protection act springs to mind

this is a make sold by b&q for a while dont think you can get parts but you could have a grill element made

if you get stuck ring 0151 546 6232 t p Fay

they are in kirby merseyside see if they will make you an element if you send it to them

they will make grill elements as long as it is 2000w or over and they cant make fan oven elements

fridges not my line but if there is no water going into any appliance look for

1 blown water valve
2 water level detect could be a float or pressure switch etc to stop icemaker section overfilling
3 most icemakers have a sensor in the ice bucket to detect when full this will stop it working

this is where i would go

bit of a long shot but have had wrong numbers printed on belts before

looked through workshop manual quickly not a lot of info on this system but works the same as the ariston autos used to with variator pulley. some of these belts seemed bigger when put on due to wear in the width but nowhere near 3 inches i would look at wrong belt

have you got a v belt supplier in your area we have one called fpt used to be called fenner belts

find local branch and take old belt to them see what they can do

Qualtex credit term were always very good in effect you could leave payment till after month end but if you did not pay by 10th you were on stop

to move payment date back 20 days is almost a month and a hard slog for the people at the bottom i for one am fast losing confidence in qualtex i am not getting the service or the discounts i feel i deserve. i have opened a new account with electrue something i said i would never do again. to top it all they now have no reps so unless i complain to their call centre i have no voice. i think they have forgotten how important the customer is to their business

not a problem i have heard of but from the pure physics point of veiw you have steam getting out of the oven and coming into contact with a colder surface check door fitting and seals etc

why not ring up bosch customer helpline and see if they have suggestion tell them its noe of your family if they ask maybe a problem they are aware off

the only fault listed fot lights 2 3 & 4 is heater relay and as you say it normally flashes

what worries me is you say it starts up with the same thing each time

think i would ring emw of if he is online he may help think i am beginning to suspect board and emw may be able to test

mod shows packing the switch unit with washers to get it closer to the magnet but you have to grind injection tabs on back of pulley there are pictures no the bullitin

problem is with reed switch on the pulley
