ModeratorRe: Hoover HNC 170 Heater Change?
have done a few of these if you remove front of machine and also remove front pulley and frame you can leave drum and belt in place and removing one wire at a time you can change heater just by reconnecting each one using one arm not easy but possible cant imagine how they put these together in the factory

ModeratorRe: Whirlpool ADP262WH dishwasher.
if valve has a safety hose to valve try taking this off double it over and put elastic on it to seal
then try machine if it is valve fault will reoccur if not look elsewhere
if it works put hose back and try again to see if it just had a good day and worked for once
you obviously can only leave hose off while you are with the machine and testing it
this should condem or eliminate valve
hope this helps

Moderatoragree with above probably pressure hose with small hole in it
a quick visit to b & q for plastic hose does the trick
as an explanation to why it only happens on rinses the machine takes in more water which lowers the drum and opens the hole in the tube
hope this helps

ModeratorRe: Belling Cooker 626
if the elements are glowing red no matter where you put the knob then the simmerstat is faulty
the simmerstat is behind the knob i am sure dave can come up with a part number if you want two
